What causes a New Car to wear tires like this? in 10,000 miles
this is the Front passenger tire.

Looks like a Camber and or Toe issue since the Drivers side is fine

The rest of the Tire looks good

Other front looks fine? Does the car wander or pull?

Although it is hard to tell, it does not appear you have enough camber at the passenger front to cause that wear to the inside. For camber to wear, it has to be pretty aggressive (at least over -2 degrees).

I would venture to say your toe is off, as toe will cause accelerated wear very easily. In this case, specifically, the concern would be toe out (-).

There is also the rare possibility that the tire has a defect (i.e. belt issue).

Obvious answer, alignment is off. Go to a tire shop or dealer to check alignment.

my front tires looked like this at 21k miles. im sure they were the first set. turns out the toe was crazy off. exagerating, but the front AND rear looked like ducks feet it was toe out that bad. that was part of what makes it so twitchy as well. there was a section of interstate i drove over every day. on the michelins with the bad alignment the car would suddenly jerk right or left. on the new nittos and alignment, car rides over them with maybe a hint of movement.

get new tires and get an alignment.

picture of tire.

I did that today...

The Tech said that the Tires are not meant to be driven below 34 deg the tire compound comes apart, mostly while driving low speeds and turning in parking lots.

if your going to drive the car in temps close to freezing you must get All Season Tires not summer only tires.

That is one bs alignment and a lazy ass tech.

Most likely a $80 alignment at a lube shop or something.

Probably the toe out on the pass side. I understand factory alignment calls for slight toe out - and that causes scrubbing on the inside shoulder. Your driver side has slight toe in which is probably why it has worn the inside shoulder less. My car had slight toe out and since I only street drive it I set it to slight toe in to avoid uneven tire wear. I would say your camber is OK if primarily driving on the street. But - I'm not sure these cars are set up to give long tire life - I wouldn't expect too much.

no that was done by Ford Dealer, he never did an alignment, just checking what my alignment is currently

It looks like the left side is right on, the right side it a bit out

Your front toe, rear toe and rear camber needs to be adjusted. They are still within range but is always better to have both sides same or very close to each other.

Your problem might be something else not alignment. It seems it might be rubbing again the bottom of the strut.

What suspension mods don't have ?

I run +0.05 toe in up front for over 7000 miles and tires are wearing perfectly.

I still don't understand why the factory alignment calls out for toe out on a regular GT350.

that looks like the road course alignment specs, not the everyday specs.

EDIT: didnt read the rest of the thread, my bad.

They still didn't adjust your rear camber.

Plus why would want to run toe out on the street?

It is a rear wheel drive car it will automatically toe out once you drive it so you want little toe in or 0 toe.
