I took a couple of pictures from a friends tires that have 20K miles on them the other day. A stock 2016 GT350 Tech pack car. I have to admit I haven't seen wear quite like this before.

Since getting neg camber is very hard to do with the stock suspension the only thing I'm coming up with is excessive toe OUT from the factory. Amazing to me it could be so far out as to produce this result. I told him to have a good alignment shop look at it soon. Anyone with expertise in this kind of thing feel free to chime in.

My tires wore the exact same way.

I got my alignment done and it was off a little, but not by alot. Then I changed to my winter set and even though they're not worn down very far yet they didn't seem to wear more on the side anymore.

I think its from toe changing on hard acceleration.

Mine had the same issue. 20,000 miles and three track days. Haven't had an alignment yet to see what was up. New set is looking good so far.

Here are what mine looked like (more details in my GT350 Experience thread):

My alignment is spot on and the inner edges do that. I corded a set of Cup 2s on the inner edge at my last track day. Something with the Michelin tires and the shape of their carcass, my autocross tires are Bridgestone RE-71Rs and don't exhibit the same problem.

I got about 26,000km out of my stock tires and they had the same wear. I live in a very flat province and hwy driving will do that with the -.8 camber and toe in. If you are not tracking I have found getting 0 toe in the front helps with the tire wear and reduces tramlining

Factory alignment, no rotation. No full speed track time.

Corded one is the front.

No kidding, I barely got 7k out of my stock PSSs .
7K?! Those are rookie numbers in the bracket!

On a serious note, you had inner tire wear on 7k miles with the MPSS? That's interesting...would expect that on 20K+

If I don't track mine and only drive it to and from work, what should I get for alignment specs?
Minimize negative camber and set a little toe in. But that is a bit opposite to the idea of this car. Alternatively you can find an alternate way to work with more curves :)

You should have a pamphlet in your literature you got with the car that calls for alignment specs. Check that out and make sure the toe isn't set to a toe out setting. I think I'll try to get a hold of Michelin and see what they have to say.
