1 year down, 2 to go. I usually look for another car every 3 years.. the the Focus ST only made 2 with me. As of now I plan on going AMG GTc... used of course lol
Life is short type car. Personally I don't like a payment on a car. I prefer paying cash and beating the shit out a car. I'm assuming the annoyance of the payment will outweigh the joy of the car. Thinking 4 years.
I get attached to things. I’ve had so much fun in this car. Beat 6 figure cars easily at Atco. So I’ll keep this car forever. It’ll be worthless in 10 years as far as book value. But the memories are priceless. My wife learned to drag race in this car. I don’t need it as a trade in. I can afford what I want within reason. No sense in getting rid of it.
Statistics say 3-4 years; they also show how fickle I've been, brand-wise, until Toyota and Mustang. And you could make a case for I've spent myself out of real riches, and for what?

I have no plans to get rid of mine. I’ll probably keep it for a long time. I like it too much and the plans I have for it (whippled low 10 second car with a tremec) and the money I’ll have sunk into it will make me want to hang onto it.
I’m neurotic about taking care of it but I drive the piss out of it. I don’t baby it at all. If I break something then I get to put better parts on it as replacements.
I’ll always have a daily driver, this car and if anything else I’ll add another Mustang along with it.
3 years or 4 more years max on my 2016 Mustang GT, (staying within the Ford 100K warranty coverage). Maybe I'll get another one, it's been a great car.
