Bought my eco in the fall of 2015 trading it for a 2020 GT. Plan on keeping that one a while.

Life is short type car. Personally I don't like a payment on a car. I prefer paying cash and beating the shit out a car. I'm assuming the annoyance of the payment will outweigh the joy of the car. Thinking 4 years.

The plan is five years +. I kept my Mazda eleven years. Our 300C was thirteen when we traded it. My Ram is sixteen and growing.

There was about a 20 year gap from my old "muscle car" to this 2018 GT. In those 20 years I had no hot rod.

Since there are a ton of Mustang upgrades that can change the cars persona, I plan to keep mine for several years or more.

Had mine for 3+ years now. Will probably keep it another 3 years or so.

Will be replaced with a 2 seater ā€˜funā€™ car, as the Mustang is not my daily.

Only problem is, after owning a GT with a supercharger on it, nothing feels fast unless you look at the big dogs (Lambo etc).

I get attached to things. Iā€™ve had so much fun in this car. Beat 6 figure cars easily at Atco. So Iā€™ll keep this car forever. Itā€™ll be worthless in 10 years as far as book value. But the memories are priceless. My wife learned to drag race in this car. I donā€™t need it as a trade in. I can afford what I want within reason. No sense in getting rid of it.

I love this car, but if history repeats itself and my current wandering eyes don't stop I'll likely be selling it toward Fall next year.

If no crashes involved, will keep the 2018 until smog is due then put back to stock and sell. I will keep the GT500 until to old to drive.

I have no plans to get rid of mine. Iā€™ll probably keep it for a long time. I like it too much and the plans I have for it (whippled low 10 second car with a tremec) and the money Iā€™ll have sunk into it will make me want to hang onto it.

Iā€™m neurotic about taking care of it but I drive the piss out of it. I donā€™t baby it at all. If I break something then I get to put better parts on it as replacements.

Iā€™ll always have a daily driver, this car and if anything else Iā€™ll add another Mustang along with it.

3 years or 4 more years max on my 2016 Mustang GT, (staying within the Ford 100K warranty coverage). Maybe I'll get another one, it's been a great car.
