Mine won't be going anywhere. When it comes time to get a new toy, it will take up another parking spot lol.

Until the little one is out of daycare, new car payment will feel like a relief once the monthly daycare nut is gone

I’ll likely keep it for the rest of my life. I drive the crap out of her every chance I get. But she’s not a daily driver, and doesn’t come out of the garage if the weather is bad. So she should last at least another 20 years.

Depends on how life goes. Finally purchased my first brand new car, and a Mustang to boot, so that bucket list item is done. As much as I love the HPP, there's still that itch for a V8. I wish I could afford a coyote swap for my '66 to justify that itch, but that just gets stupid expensive. My next big step is a house if the market decides to 🤬ing correct itself from its 🤬ing ridiculous prices right now, and if I can get a decent pay by then as a tech.

Maybe then I could think of coyote (PP1) dreams...

First V8 and first car I ever paid off so until one of us dies. These new car prices are getting out of control.

I’ve had my 18 since the end of 18 10r80 I’ve got an atak catback on it. Sounds great but idk kinda wish I would’ve gotten the 6speed even though I’ve never driven manual. 10 spd shifts too much feel like a stick is more engaging. Was looking at the 2021 but they all seem a little pricey right now

Not selling or trading it unless I have to or I’m too old or unable to drive it any longer.

It’s paid off and there isn’t much else I’d like to replace it with.

I’m enjoying not having a car payment. It’s nice to pay the whole insurance premium all at once and not have a monthly insurance bill.

The only expense i have is at each fill up and any tolls which is rare.

I also tend to keep my cars a long time / forever.
This will stay around at least 10+ and maybe forever as I continue to mod it to what I want....

I have an 06 GT Vert with 210K still runs like a champ.
Also, have a 06 Expedition with 250k.

Tell me about it (price)! My last Mustang was a '71 Mach 1 with the base 302-2V engine coupled to a C4 automatic. Back then, it was about $3800? Of course, base... no A/C, manual windows, drum brakes all around (not power brakes), single exhaust, 8-track AM/FM stereo. You get the picture. Put all kinds of parts in it but can't get much out of a 9:1 compression engine and best run was 14.2 on the 1/4, but fuel economy went up compared to stock and was around 15-16 mpg. My 2020 GT came out at over $48K with taxes, license, extended warranty but sooooo much quicker & gives me 19+ mpg around town (yeah, I don't have a lead foot).

I'm 68 so this will be a final car until I or it dies. I love the cool stuff though, like TrackApps and all the safety stuff (lane departure, auto high beams, auto wipers, etc.) but really enjoying the posi-trac rear (my Mach 1 didn't so had to set up the Lakewood traction bars so it will leave the line with both wheels smoking the tires). My only concern is reliability and longevity of the systems because according to my scanner, it has 22 system modules on board. That's a lot because I was only used to a car having PCM, SRS, ABS, entertainment, body control, etc.

Love the look of this 55 year anniversary of the Mustang; definitely looks meaner than my '71 Mach 1 did.

I bought a 2020 Bullitt in April of 2020 and plan on keeping it until the day I die and hand it off to one of my grandkids.

I bought my 2017 last year and plan to keep it about 5 years.

However, earlier today I was looking at GT350s for sale and I really want to make a move. I owned a 2011 V6 Mustang for one year, a 2011 GT for one year, a 2015 GT for one year, the 2016 GT350 I really loved and owned it for 3.5 years. Z06 I bought after the GT350 - one year. Financially my car decisions are terrible!

Bought my 2015 GT Premium (with 50th Anniversary Appearance Package) in 2016 and intended to keep it for at least 10 years. Then they brought out the Mach 1, and since a '69 Mach 1 was my first car, I just had to do it. The 2015 is going to available once the Mach 1 arrives and I intend to keep the Mach 1 until they pry my hands off the steering wheel!
