Ok so I just loaded the Lund tune to take it for a drive and something is seriously wrong. My car is violently bucking when I'm cruising down the road at 50 or so and occasionally on downshifts. I tried to put a little gas into it and immediately I feel a sound like metal grinding like the car is about to just fall apart. Whatever this tune is doing now is obviously incorrect and there's no way I would ever datalog this much less than back out my driveway with it.

I drove on this same tune for about 2 days in-between the install and the custom tune. Is there a possibility something could have been changed while they were tuning it?

Dyno Jet.. Phoenix AZ 95 degree dry day. Ill try and post my graph when I obtain it myself... (no pc to download it!)
DynoJet's read higher. I did 390 HP and 375 TQ when I just went for curiosity.

That's correct, and I could tell instantly something was wrong so I'm positive everything being equal I would have noticed the first time.

Would re-loading the file you sent on the device possibly fix it?

I'm thinking you loaded a canned tune, not our jlt intake tune.

TUNES DO NOT CHANGE

If it didn't do it before, it's not going to change now

There's only 2 options to load, yours and theirs...

Did you first reload the factory tune and then load the lund tune? Pretty sure it is bad idea to load a custom tune on top of a custom tune - if this is even possible.

The Lund tune would not have changed.

Yes I reloaded the factory tune first. Am I supposed to do anything other than let it run and say finished, and power off. Then power on and load Lund?

^bingo. You have to flash it back to stock before you load a new tune. I'm betting that is the problem.

I think you misunderstood (or I didn't state it well). I took off the Lund tune and I re-loaded the shop's custom tune and it's fine. I will not be loading that Lund tune.

Well that is odd. It might be worth asking lund for another file, perhaps the one you have is somehow corrupt.

Or at this point, maybe not. Up to you obviously.

Yea, the idea of running Lund vs Custom Shop tune on 3rd party dyno and at the strip would be pretty interesting. I have an appointment for 3 pulls of each on a DynoJet from another shop on Monday but I'll need to figure out who to contact about getting this Lund file issue corrected. First I'll give the ol' delete and reload completely on the device tonight and see if that helps.
