Made three passes at the track last week and best 60’ I had was a 2.003. This was launching at 1.5k rpms. First two were launching at 2k. Only mods are stop the hop, plus a MT et street r. 2023 base 10r80. I’m gonna try launching at a lower rpm this week to see if it helps. What else could I be missing? How the freak are people cutting a 1.8 1.9 on a factory setup? Yes I had A/T and TC off. Should the dyno plug have any influence? I’m also gonna try unplugging it to test. Btw, the car bogs, definitely not spinning
A member made me aware of a foot brake torque table that can be adjusted through tuning but how are people getting past the 2.0 short time without a tune?

What gear ratio? 93? What size radial? How much air in tires? How much gas? Any weight reduction?

I put car in drag mode, turn off t/c,
quick burnout to clean off radials and get some heat in them. Then 2 foot to 1500 to get slack out of driveline and then just punch it.

3.15 gear, 93 octane, 305/45/17 MT er street r, no weight reduction, sport mode, about a 1/4 tank…
I do a small burnout, tires were at 23psi, shallow staged and tried launching at 2k. It definitely bogged and then went.
best was 2.003 short time. 12.40 @ 115

Like Juggernaut said use drag mode. If you're bogging on launch, that tells me your tires are hooking, you need more rpm, not less.

Taller tire and 3.15 is killing your 60'. You basically made your rear gear like a 3.0. My mach is heavy so I took out back seats and tire thing.
How long were you 2 footing for? That can add alot of heat to trq converter and that won't help any.

I’m no expert with this stuff, but if you’re bogging and the tires aren’t spinning, I don’t see why the solution would be to launch at even lower RPM. I would think you’d want to keeping raising it and see what happens as far as getting better times, as long as you still aren’t spinning.

23 has 2 foot TM, so going more rpm will just kill it more. Add a bit more tire pressure, just get slack out of driveline and then let it eat.

I don’t have drag mode until I get a tune. Also, was two footing for roughly 4 seconds…..

Completely stock except wheels and tires. It's a Mach 1 so it has a lil more aggressive tune from factory but nothing crazy.

I have an M6, so it may not help much. I run the M/T Street SS in a 325/30/19. I usually run 17-18 psi and do a pretty long burnout to get them heated up (5-10 sec). I launch hard at 4K rpm pretty much just dumping the clutch. I consistently have 1.8x 60’ times of course depending on track prep. Shitty track prep can make all the difference. I’d experiment with psi and just make sure you get the tires heated up good. Like others said, if you’re bogging, you need more rpm.

Believe me I would love to launch it harder. It seems as if the TC was making it big, then go. The first two passes launched at 2k, the 60’s were 2.04 and 2.045. On the third and final pass, I tried launching at 1500 rpm, and it was the best 60 and et of the night. 2.003 12.40 @ 115. I didn’t get to try anything else cause I had to go.
