Where did they say that? I'm part of the Mach 1 community on Facebook and have been directing folks to message Diode Dynamics to show the need.

I've put about 10k miles on one of those T-birds. stock form not that great looking, but a fun drive. if you add the aftermarket fins and rear faux tire carrier, they don't look bad.

Aftermarket fins? Faux Tire?...ew! My wife has a 2002 T-Bird, its cute, runs good and she loves it. The electronics are an issue, but it's fun with the top down.

I just left a request for them to reconsider on that thread. If everyone here did that, maybe it would help change their mind.

they fix the droopy lines on the back end. make it striaghter, look more like the original. can't find a good picture, but it really does make it look better from the side.

I would be interested in someone making functional cooling vents from the faux fog lights. Cooling that Whipple would be nicer.

It is literally the only criticism I have ever gotten on the car, the consensus goes something like "its not bad or ugly, but it just looks unfinished". I have to agree.
