This looks terrible, but I won't lie... Those empty plastic sockets on the grill bother this shit out of me. I don't know what I will do with them yet, though.

If I have a Mach 1.... I may just put nice custom KC Daylighter cut decals in those inserts :p

custom as in the top section flat and perfect shape and diameter of the opening so it fills in nicely :p solid yellow

Or how about just the smiley face KC script in yellow as a script die cut decal and leave the original black background :)

Not sure what model this is but the driving lights caught my eye as a possible retro fit for ours. Might have to dig a little deeper into possibilities of mounting behind grill instead of inside cutouts.

That’s a 2013/2014 model. I posted already that my 2014 had this setup snd the lights were actually larger than the opening from the front and it might be feasible to use similar bracket idea to mount fogs in Mach1

Fog lights stand out too much on the mach 1. It looks bug eyed. If someone came out with tinted or smoked fog lights to complement the grill, It might look a lot better IMO.

Funny you mention the redundant Mach 1 license. I am considering NYS plates NY MACH1... too much?
I have 22MACH1 on order.

I think we're all looking forward to the "Mach 1 grille lights done right" thread. Not holding my breath, but.

Just a thought that came up today during a photo shoot with @chorse today -- another of the subtle Mustang signatures on the Mach 1 is that the surrounds on the faux grille lights happen to look like horseshoes when viewed from above so you can't see the flat spot on the top. Personally, I doubt that was an accident. It's like the turn signal sound that's been there since 2015 -- just part of the signature that someone on the design/engineering team had the ingenuity to include.

Si here goes nothing. Just installed these on my 2021 Mach 1, these are from Oracle and are ofiginally for the 2013-2014 Mustangs. Some minor mods are required but think they fit well. Question is, I've only been able to run them while lights are on and when I lock and unlock the car. What wire could I tap into for them to be always on, like the tri-bars?

I actually had this hood on my fake Mach 1 S197, it did route the air over to the air box thru molding underneath. It wasn't even a GT, but I really loved that car. Now my brother in law is trashing it :(

-I did take out the Nitrous, last thing I need is my sister blaming me for him wrapping it around a tree.

Gross a thousand ways, nice car ruined by bad taste, just not a good look.

The new body style 2021 just does not support the over blown fog light.

Maybe ......... maybe, smaller, lower and closer together could work better.

How well did they fit the contours and shape?
As for power. You are looking for ignition power. I would be willing to bet there is a fuse you would be able to use in the fuse box under hood. Fuse 44 in power distribution box is noted as vehicle power. That should be key on power. I have not checked it but at 15 amp fuse I don’t believe it would be battery power. I tap fuses not wires, personal preference.

I agree with this 100%. You can pick up those mini fuse taps super cheap. No cutting wires and gives the accessory your adding it's own fuse. You can pick up a pack of them from Amazon for under $10.

We call that a MOCK 1 and I kind of like it, except for the Mach 1 decals.
