I'm based in the UK and have a non-HP Mach 1 (HP is not offered in the UK). I have, however, installed the front HP splitter. I have factory Y-spoke wheels and the OEM PS4S tires. I'm always curious about the clearance of switching to HP wheels and tires, as well as lowering springs. Currently, I have 12 cm or 4.72 inches of clearance at the front lip. For guys with the HP front splitter, how much clearance do you have and what mods (tires, wheels, springs) do you have?

Yes, 4.5 inches / 114mm.

Looks can be a bit deceptive. Immediately at the splitter, it will measure 6 inch/ 152 mm. But the belly pan actually flows lower, to the 4.5 inch @Coastal-Mach stated.

The Mach 1 supplement says to keep any ramps or grades 7 degrees or less.
Stock Mach 1, with HP package and 285/35/19 tires gifts me the measurements referenced above.

Edit: https://www.raceramps.com/ramps/race/p/rr-72-2/

I own and use the Race Ramps noted, using 10" wide rims; they work great.

Thanks, that's interesting that your stock HP car has more clearance than I do. And you are running 30R19 tires Vs my 40R19

A 255/40R 19 wheel has a radius of 13.5". A 305/30R 19 wheel has a 13.1" radius. In theory, the HP tires alone should lower the car 0.4".

I’ve got the same clearance in the centre of the lower splitter: 12cm pretty much exactly.

Parked on a flat surface, Ford HP springs, HP wheels and tyres in standard HP sizes.
HP Street alignment and HP camber plates also installed if that makes a difference.

I would have thought it would be a bit lower!
Not measured the belly pan clearance but it’s noticeably lower there.

Thanks for measuring. I'm beginning to think my car just sits low. I'll try another ruler tomorrow just to be sure.

Thanks 🙏 guys. @Jimmy Dean you are the only guy sitting lower than me. Maybe we should start a low riders club!

Lowered on BMR GT350 springs. Think they're 1" drop (2.54 cm). Mine looks to be a smidge under 3 & 3/4" so maybe 9.5 cm

@NJMike I think so far, you are in the low-rider lead! All jokes aside, do you ever have any issues with the splitter clearance?
