Ground clearance front splitter of handling package

I am trying to transport a possible purchase of a Mach 1 with the handling package. Can someone measure the ground to the front splitter? Google shows 5.7” which seems rather high.

I looked at an HP that was transported with the front splitter from Ontario ... bad choice. It was destroyed. Have the purchasing dealer take it off and store it inside the interior.

It is just under 5 inches at the very front edge, but it tapers back to an even smaller clearance a few inches back towards the engine.

They should have extension ramps to get it off safely.

I shipped mine via enclosed trailer and asked the dealer to remove it. I’m glad I did, the ramps and extensions didn’t allow for the splitter to clear.

My was 4 3/4". What about having the dealer leave the shipping blocks between the front spring coils, maybe that gives you another 1/2"

car is used so I don’t think they have the shipping blocks.

Transport company is, or should be, responsible for damages in transport, including loading and unloading.

If you are having to tell them how to do their job, find a better transport company.
