I can't pull out off my driveway. I have to carry a half sheet of plywood to the end and go across that diagonally to get it without scraping. If that make sense. It's pouring here today or I'd go snap a picture

My car is stock HP. Just over 4”, the belly pan is slightly lower than this but with how far out the nose/lip is from the front axle most of the impacts are on the “fangs”. I will say the lip has held up great. I am cautious when entering/exiting but shit happens 😂

The lip has also survived some minor offs and curbs on track, along with about 1k miles “at speed” on track. I consider it a wear item and have a new one in storage when the inevitable happens.

I'm based in the UK and have a non-HP Mach 1 (HP is not offered in the UK). I have, however, installed the front HP splitter. I have factory Y-spoke wheels and the OEM PS4S tires. I'm always curious about the clearance of switching to HP wheels and tires, as well as lowering springs. Currently, I have 12 cm or 4.72 inches of clearance at the front lip. For guys with the HP front splitter, how much clearance do you have and what mods (tires, wheels, springs) do you have?

Hi, I live in Spain, we have a lot of speed bumps. I have fitted the Ford OEM PP2 front splitter due to clearance issues with the M1 splitter. It needed a slight amount of mod work and I used wellnuts but it looks great and I have not had any issues as yet. Please see my YouTube channel "ICE Mach 1" as I made a video about it, thanks

That looks really good! I saw another mach1 at a track day recently and it had a lip I had not seen before but now I am thinking it was an aftermarket lip designed for a pp1/pp2 GT.

You're right about it being on the PP2, and is Ford built, not after market

Hi, does anybody have a non-OEM Mach 1 HP front splitter installed...something like this here? IKON MOTORSPORTS, Front Bumper Lip Compatible With 2021-2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1, PP Polypropylene Handling Package Style Front Lower Chin Lip Splitter Protector – Ikon Motorsports
I originally wanted to get the OEM part but a friend of mine who has it said that it is pretty thick and that he bottoms out quite often. The PP2 splitter seems to have a pretty low profile but I am not 100% sold on the looks.

I installed the Bumper Scrape Guards and it does take most of the scrapes. I also put some on the belly pan as this also get caught. But I like the idea of PP2 front splitter once I need to replace mine.

After some research, the one above is not that great. I am leaning towards the PP2 one now. This one here https://www.steeda.com/10-1018-103-pp2-style-front-splitter could maybe work. Doesn't seem to have the little pieces that go up on the ends.

Maybe member "M1-2023" could further elaborate on the install? Watched your video (thank you for sharing) and understand the part where you talk about trimming the end pieces that go up into the wheel well but would be curious to hear what you did with the wellnuts and what other modifications were necessary. (Also, maybe this helps https://www.vorshlag.com/forums/for...aero-body/58939-2018-mustang-gt-pp2-undertray)
If you don't mind measuring, how thick/tall is the Mach 1 HP splitter and the PP2 splitter ? Thank you!

According to this, the Mach 1 splitter is 5cm tall.

stock UK GT (mine) is 18.5cm clearance :giggle: Just as well as some of the traffic calming gives me a nose bleed
Facelifts must have a little less clearance :

Stock UK GT (which has a PP1 lip as reference for the USDM guys) with MR is between 14.5cm and 16cm.

The variance is from where along the front edge I measure, and the fact that it's currently parked on a cobbled drive ... :giggle:

We have that in my neighborhood as well; this is one of the main reasons why I haven't put a GT500 front end on my 0.5" lowered GT Premium. I'm sure it's already close to rubbing those damn speed bumps. I'm all for keeping the kids and their K Swapped Hondas below the speed of light (and sound) but damn. These things are like mini mountains.

Aye, they eventually surfaced the road outside so that reduced the speed bump / traffic calming height by something like 40mm so that was a nice day.
