You've been watching to much youtube.
Comment was based on recent member experience utilizing the MMR opg's. That statement included ".......LOL" to insinuate the statement was made to be taken lightly. Many install aftermarket OPG's but seldomly ever inspect them later. The recent member has less than optimal wear with MMR, as did i with Boundary. But ill take his experience with a grain of salt as there can be many contributing factors. Ill try the MMR set in my known setup and see what happens.

Did you by chance check the clearances? Just wondering after all the FUD I have heard about different brands.
I did. Its noted somewhere in my other build thread. So Ford cranks out oil pump housings and gears, then slaps em all together. QC check every 1000 units who knows??? Looks brand new after many boosted miles, and a shitload of passes. It seems that oem opgs are hard AF but brittle (to an extent). To make a set more ductile, the assumption would be that they were softer. That would indicate more wear generally speaking. Whats the best OPG? Why is the sky blue? How does a posi traction work??? It just does!!!!! LOL

Went to Colorado for a while to relax. Colorado Springs and Golden to be specific. Back now and ready to get moving on this!

I suppose if one needs additional coolant flow, thats the way to go. I have not had the need in my 2016. It has a big intercooler and ac condenser in front of the radiator. I haven't found that i needed any additional flow with that setup. So i went standard on the coupe.

I didn't. Messed with those stupid predator coils on the other car. Then took that car to the track tonight and didn't do shit. Just blew the tires away. This track routinely does all that no prep shit so the track was garbage.

Got everything ready to put the heads on. First step is sand off the washer coating that will face the head. This is done to create friction between the head and the washer to ensure proper torque values. If the washer spins, you could torque the stud enough to snap it off. Bunch of articles out there if anyone want specifics. Anyhow, just run the washers over some 220 on the workbench.
