s550 drag car engine swap

picked up a 16 v6 s550 a while back for less than 10 grand. 3.7 and 6r80. i picked up a f150 coyote for 450 bucks (yes 450 bucks). No issues, engine runs fine when pulled but being that its cheap im gonna hone the cylinders and do the rod bearings just in case for peace of mind. i have a mt82 laying around and im gonna make it happen. wondering what things i may run into. im going to use a ford performance harness. Keep in mind im doing this swap either way and im not selling my s550 for another s550. let me know what you guys think. feedback on electrical topics regarding integrating the harnesses is much appreciated. ive collected almost everything i think. i would need except the driveshaft and the harness. car does not need to have all accesories working just drivable to make passes. also im not using my cats so smog legality is also not being considered.

Brenspeed might be a good source of information. They’ve done a V6 to Coyote with an MT82 before in an S197 platform, but I’m sure the parts and know how are carryovers. Take a look here:
