I have the extended warranty to 75k miles, anybody know if those remain intact?
For the parts you replace and what they can affect the true answer is no...the Ford Performance 3/36 replaces it. Every other part should be unaffected.

And the truth is most Ford dealerships would not even care to make a fuss over it.

You do realize the Ford Performance tune knocks your 5 year power train warranty down to 3 years?
That's still 3 years longer than any other tune. That's still 3 years of fairly solid assurance.

A So. Cal Ford Dealer Service Manager told me...."The Ford Performance Power Pack tune will void your warranty because it's considered third party".

Is there any truth to this? Or is it a dealer by case situation?

Well it is technically 3rd party. But many dealerships will work with you especially if they install it. Plus the warranty changes to the Ford Performance one for some aspects.

Well, it is bs just based on the fact that you can't void a warranty. You can have a warranty claim denied, that's about it. I would go to another dealer that deals with FP parts, personally.

Agreed on deny vs void. Key is having a working relationship with your dealership. And just like anything in life some are better than others.

If they install the tune aren't they required to do the work? I mean I guess they can deny your claim but they would need a valid reason.
I had a friend with a similar issue on his '17 GT and he contacted Ford Corporate and lodged a complaint with the BBB and they called him back and suddenly were willing to work on his car.

Read your "extended warranty" contract. I'm certain there is language in it regarding modifications

Not that I've seen or heard, which is unfortunate. I thought maybe around the point that they announced hp numbers for the GT500 but that's come and gone.

I was told the tunes for 18/19 GT were done a long time ago, just waiting for CAFE approval. Will call monday to see if approved.
Yeah that's what we heard here, though I thought it was CARB.
