$1,275.00$$!!!

Get the fug outta' here!!!
You never buy directly from FP, any other vendor will have it for much less.

When the power pack 2 for the 15-17's first came out it was 850 retail, you can get them for about 7 bills new now. Give it time, the price will come down. Maybe for wants you to spend all of your stimulus money with them.
Exactly, I got it over 3 years ago for $600 so even less than that.

I When I bought my 2018 Ecoboost, I ordered the FRPP tune as it was the only tune that din't void the factory warranty. I should have done more research, as it does indeed void the factory warranty as the warranty drops from 5 years to 3 years. If the tune is so safe, why the limit on the warranty? I traded my Ecoboost for a GT and intend to keep my full warranty this time.

Correct, I found it already for $1050...coming from the BMW world its a bargain compared to BMW parts.

I don't see anywhere in that warranty they will cover other parts of the car if it is decided that the installed parts caused other failures. Sounds like the warranty is just for the parts installed. Am I wrong...did I miss something?
I think if you have a powertrain issue between 3/36 and 5/60 they will deny your claim if they feel the FP pack was the culprit, but I think if its another part of engine and not found to be related to the operation of the FP pack, they can still cover the powertrain thru 5/60

You didn't miss anything. Unlike the Ford Performance tune, the Roush tune only warrants it's own parts . Throw a rod with the Roush tune and you're SOL if Ford blames the tune. Ford Performance would take care of it, but only in the first 3/36, as opposed to the factory 5/60 or any extended warranty you may buy.

EDIT: Deleted erroneous time for Roush warranty.

so wait, you can get a roush supercharger with a 3/36 warranty, but a roush tune only comes with 90 days?

i mean, it says this right in the link

  • 3 Year/36,000 Mile Warranty
  • 50 State Legal

that only applies to "roush retail" parts if i am reading correctly.

does not apply to roush overstock parts, non roush parts and and accessories, roush wheels, roushcharger, roush competition parts, or roush crate engines..

do we know what part category the supercharger is in?

i find it hard to believe they are going to say "3 year warranty" and then in the fine print it says 'haha got you, its only 3 month warranty, suckers!'...

i dont know about other countries, but i'd say thats illegal in the USA
