Leave the nut and use the supplied nut on top.The driver's side, is it correct that you don't remove the existing nut on the intake and you just tighten the separator right on top of it? Or are we replacing the existing one with the one with the separator?

Yikes! Looks like I just wasted $150 as well. Silly question. Is yours mounted on top or below the hole under the strut brace? Looks like it could work either way.It's been about a month and +/- 1000 miles since I put the driver's side on, so I opened up to take a look. Bone dry. Does that tell me anything?
