Hard to tell, but is that a COMBINED left AND right side catch in one device?

No just routes differently bc of the super charger it looks like.

Our catch can system with clean side separator is ready now!

http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-billet-plug-n-play-catch-can-css-gt350-16.html

Our can uses our diffuser that is picking up a ton of moisture along with oil. We also run a check valve which helps a lot with the factory PCV and keeping a tight vacuum on the motor. And our clean side will eliminate any splashing of oil getting into the intake tube.

before I make a purchase decision I would like to understand the differences from Ford version versus JLT versus UPR Oil Catch Cans

JLT product information is posted on the following web link

Oil separator
Is should be available in December and retails for $189. Specifics are:

1. A lot of development went into the filtering media, "it works great".
2. It's made out of glass filled nylon 6 for durability.
3. Uses a throttle body gasket vs an O ring found on other separators.
4. The hoses come from the same supplier that makes the OEM hoses.
5. It uses OEM quick connects with proper seals.

Ford was going for the OEM look and quality for durability. "We did it right"

I'm sure they all do what they are supposed to. I've had the UPR system in for about 800 miles now. My observations: 1) UPR can is nice and deep! you could probably get away with just dumping between oil changes. 2) spendy but top quality all around. Plastic would probably work just as well but if you like shiny anodized aluminum there it is. The CSS is more immediately visible, and the other can is kinda hidden below the top of the fender. I can attest that the UPR system works as advertised. Before install both breather lines were coated in oil. Afterwards both are dry 800 miles later.

I think it is awesome to see OEM offer this.

I am a big fan of using OEM parts when possible.

I'd be willing to bet that the Ford piece has a lot more real engineering behind it versus the rest. Not that others don't work, but.....

My guess is it will be a lot like a coalescing filter for compressed air treatment.

Does anyone have word on when the Ford OEM separators might become available? Is there a part number I can start checking up on?

Would like to get one installed as soon as I get my car, which should be less than a month away now. Probably running out of time to order one either way so I am starting to consider which aftermarket unit would be my 2nd choice.
