Did you guys install these? Any issues? Better performance/revving of the engine?

I have a bit of money to spend and already have the kinetic crank saver stud ready to install. Im going to do CF driveshaft, wheels, 2 piece rotors, and am considering this as an additional rotational mass mod so to speak.

Its installed on the Engine, the car is going back together as we speak: it is only slightly lighter than stock. Aleccolin did some weight measurements on it.

I feel like its gonna make a big difference. I saw 11.98 quoted, but have seen a couple stock ones in the 13.9-14.2 range. And 10.2 lbs for the Fluidamper. So thats in the neighborhood of 4 lbs raw weight. But the Fluidamper states 6.6 lbs rotating. Thats around 7.5 lbs of rotating mass.

Jegs has it on sale. Im gonna get one and a puller and an install bolt. Doing a lightweight water pump pulley at the same time as well.

Got it today. 10.2 lbs on my $30 bathroom scale. Looks like a nice piece.

Have any of you guys installed these? Curious how the install was and how the car felt afterwards?

I have not yet. Will do it over the winter when we get a couple decent days of weather.

If it has a tight .001 clearance like the IW I just installed, it goes on tight but was actually easy with my install tool I made. Good luck.
Question: are you going to use a strap to hold the damper for you to torque bolt/nut or are you guys planning to use a flywheel lockout tool? If you dont have a manual.

Thats the only part of the plan i am not sure on yet. I got a puller, install tool, and kinetic stud.

I do have an A10, so open to suggestions.

Well I would rather not torque nut to 120flbs using a strap wrench holding the two piece damper. So, I bought the MMR flywheel lock out tool which requires the removal of the starter which appears to be a good job due to the starter top bolt. But I will start that process tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Bear in mind, and you likely already know this, but it's worth mentioning that the MMR Flywheel Lock Tool only works with the manual transmission, not auto's.

Hummm?. Well thank you for letting the air out of My balloon. But, I did specifically state I had a A10. And I cannot see why it wouldn't work, I mean it looks like it locks the flywheel gear.
