it’s been great. The throttle mapping is very smooth and more responsive than stock. More power is nice as well of course.
Im trying to decide between their user flex tune and a street/dyno use flex tune from HPJ outside St Louis.
Im just gonna get the pre fabbed 2018+ kit with billet fittings. I dont see a need for a gauge. The E% should be fairly consistent over the course of a tank. If you have 3 gallons of E72 in there and go fill up and 15 miles later you're reading E74 thats pretty well what its gonna be for the tank.
Yes I have that set-up. Bought a stock fuel line for $50 and spliced into it to install a Zeitronix ECA-2. I have the user-flex tune from Lund. My car is N/A. If you want to do this with boost you will need a bypass for the sensor to prevent it from creating a bottleneck in your fuel lines.
How...
I put the M1 intake tube back on and that mostly cleared up the trims issue. Im seeing +7-10% in about all driving situations, which i think is to be expected with no carbon trap.
Strangely the bank 2 LTFT bounces a bit more. Its good all the time except WOT then it jumps to +22% ish. During...
Another question is if the GT350 tube flows more air should i put it back on and get tuned for it when i d? People get tunes for PMAS and big JLT intakes all the time.
I put the GT350 tube on there cause it looks better to me. CoastalMach had done it previously with no issues, though i dont know if he monitored trims. Its a nicer intake sound without the resonator box on the tube. Also i broke one of the tabs off of that inner sleeve on the M1 tube and it...
Got caught up in house projects today so i didn't have time to do anything other than drive it for 15 miles or so and just watch the trims after i reset adaptives last night. I am happy to out the stock parts back on tomorrow but i am confused about what i saw while driving.
I used the tuner...
I have thought of that, but dang that would be pretty far off for a tube that i think is the same diameter, and a ported throttle body. I was expecting to see 10%sh. Part of the issue is if i put the factory parts back on and the trims go to near 0, i wont necessarily know if that means i had a...
Thats my plan. And maybe remove the driver side oil separator while i am at it. It had 0 drips of oil in it when i checked at my yearly oil change. The passenger side had an ounce or two maybe.
Supposedly its the same diameter as the M1 tube is with the sleeve installed from what i read. I didn't verify but will when i remove the 350 tube. Everything is tight so i am likely to put the parts on and then let the dealer handle it if the trims still suck.
At a loss for what else to do other than throw factory parts back on it. Drove another good bit this week after i reset the adaptives. No CEL came back, but i was being easy on it. Hooked up Forscan in the garage. The LTFTs are both at 28%. STFTs are actually near 0 at idle, which i know doesnt...
They do. I would tend to think that's accurate, but that would be based off of my LS1 experience not Fords….
if I can get it to settle at 10% after all the E is out of the tank I would be happy. I am getting a user adjustable flex tune by early summer at the latest. Will ask the tuner to dial...
I am not tuned at all. In theory the 350 intake tube is the same ID as the M1 tube just without the resonator. The TB is certainly flowing more air and likely a fair amount of that is off idle and mid range.
i would swap the air filter, intake tube, TB, and oil separators back to stock parts. I...
I forgot i had a Forscan compatible OBD2 cable from when i bought my F250. So i put Forscan on my laptop and went to see what was up. I cleared the adaptive and the DTC and started it. I let it idle a good long time and warm up. Cant drive today cause its cold and rainy and Cup2s. The idle...
I know i screwed up initially adding 2 gallons and not topping off. I just cant believe that hasnt trimmed out after 12 gallons and 100-125 miles of driving. So that makes me wonder if i have a leak or my set up is sitting at positive ltfts all the time and the E just pushes it over the edge. I...
