How much trouble was the install? Did you do a retune for them and how much more hp/tq did you pick up? Any chop with those stage 3 cams?
The install itself really isn't that bad. I made it immensely harder on myself by messing up a couple things, but it wasn't terrible. I am still in middle of the tuning process but unfortunately it looks like I am having some phaser issues so I may have to tear it all apart again here soon.

The car hasn't been on a dyno in while and prob won't be until the fall. It sounds exactly the same. No chop at all.

What kind of trouble are you having with the phasers?

It's acting like the phasers arn't holding the intake cams in place during idle(even though the logs say otherwise). Causing the STFT's to swing pretty wildly.

Or the tune is absolute trash, but I think that's unlikely.

I hope you get it sorted out without too much trouble.

If all you want is sound, a ghost cam tune is the way to go. Aftermarket cams aren’t the best way to get there and will probably idle smooth anyway.
^^^ I was going to say - does any Coyote really "need" cam upgrades? To do such a job "just for sound" or to get a "chop" from the engine, to me, seems like a total waste of time & $$. I'm coming at it considering the fact that it's possible to get so much more out of a Coyote that IS and would be beneficial, not only from a performance perspective, but also from a time/cost perspective, rather than blindly plunking cams into it.

I have a set of MMR custom ground cams for my car, just waiting on my new heads to do the install. My friend has Modular Head Shop Cams with an Edelbrock supercharger and loves the cams.

Have you seen some of the other posts on here and hp tuners forum where issues similar to this turned out to be bad machining of the phaser mating surface on the front of the cams? Seems to be a more common problem than it should be.

A quick google search shows that Beefcake Racing has the Comp Cams Stage 3 cams in stock. With new valve springs required, perhaps a good port job on the heads would also complement the cams rather nicely.
That’s the route I’m going, already have the Whipple on my car, but as long as the cam covers were off for log aand cs, addding cams isn’t that much more labor, then pulling the heads to add studs isn’t much more either. But I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering a sleeved short block by the time I get my heads back from porting.

I know they have had some issues. Mine have had some pretty hard miles on them so I guess I can't be mad.

I went with MMR stage 2 blower cams for my Whipple car and one of my friends just dyno’d his 19 Edelbrock car with MHS cams and made 826 at the tires on 12 lbs.
