“The ordered parts have been discontinued and or is back ordered with no ETA by the manufacturer”

Update to my update… called my local Ford dealer to check ETA of the filter I had on ordered with them last fall… and they actually got one! Will be picking it up tomorrow.

I am now at the end of my rope with this dam filter situation like everyone else I cant find a dam fl-2087 or a dam fl-2062 now. the only one I have found is the fl-2062A

Has any one ACTUALLY used the FL-2062A? I only saw it mentioned once here.
I have called every dealer with in 110 mi of me and no dice. the actual filters look different and owning a 1 of 16 scares the shit out of me thinking of having the motor blow up and it not be a numbers matching car after an engine replacement

For those of you looking for FL-2087, Gosch Ford in Escondido (San Diego Area) has some. I just picked up 2 for my 350 and they had about 8-10 in stock. Not sure if they will ship but you can inquire with Jake in parts at 760-294-2525. Good luck
