This is a common problem. It can be adjusted but will likely continue to sag over time. It's a poorly designed attachment between the bumper and fender. I had mine adjusted before I took delivery on both my 350 and 350R.

Nice Tommy, congrats on the BASE R!

Love your 964 as well, I had a 94' for 10 years - only thing I ever did was oil changes! Bulletproof, smell great and slam those doors baby, CLINK!

You'll love the R, the engine just revs and revs, it makes A LOT OF noise, pops (ride the gas a little while engine braking) Cold starts scare animals, children, adults. . I have proof. Cant really go wrong with the R model, likes to pull/tramline a lot on freeways and ruts, so nice to keep firm hands on wheel.

Also, this Tremec transmission is really quite good. The only transmission I've had with better feel and precision was my S2000.

I live in AL. I also purchased a base R. Hell be just fine!

I doubt there will be anything that you can do about the steering feedback since that is something that is programmed into the rack.

if its not a daily driver, its good to go. You drive when you think its nice enough. I don't drive it on 90 degree days with high humidity, but 85 and below...roll the windows down and enjoy.

Fun ain't it! I scared the shit out of my wife with a cold start. She passed the back of the car just as I turned it over.

One thing I've noticed is the throttle mapping isn't great. For example, if I'm below 4K rpm and let off the throttle, it seems to almost hang/continue with partial throttle for a second before engine braking. Same with getting on the throttle... a bit of a lag.

Is there any way to address this without risking warranty coverage? I don't need/want a tune for more power. But there has to be a way to tidy up the throttle...
