What rims are you running? Do you just use the open lugs from OPM that came with the hubs or ARP studs with your stock rims when and if you run them?
I'm running Signature wheels with a 25mm spacer up front. I use open lug nuts with ARP studs.

I used and still have the ones from OPR that I got when I bought the studs.

I have more recently picked up a set of Signature's titanium lug nuts.

Are you running 19's or 20's? Any particular reason as to one or the other? Also, any noticeable difference or preference between the Apex wheels and Signature?

I'm running 19s. I'm keeping some sidewall and keeping rotating inertia down for performance. As far as Signature and Apex, both great wheels. I'm using Apex for the track because they have 50% pricing on replacement wheels if you break one, and I use Signature on the street because I like the finish better. As far as weight and quality, can't say there's anything to choose between them.

As recommended by Apex, 25mm front spacers with ARP extended studs, EC-7s 19x11 ET52 squared (only 24.5 lbs ea). Cornerweighted with -3.0 ft and -2.3 rr using GC front camber plates. I have used up the 305 Sport Cup 2s and now putting on GY Supercar F1 3Rs which are a bit wider in profile.

My PP2 is well balanced on multiple tracks here. Solid wheels and setup, can't complain. For more peace of mind, yes, rear extended studs are best but had no issues with stock with proper torqueing and rechecks between sessions. That would be my next step.

Is the difference between the 19" and 20" that pronounced when tracking the car? How about tire availability between the 19'' and 20'; I have read in some other threads there is more to choose from when going to a 20" wheel.

Most people would rather go to an 18 (Obviously on a 350 you can't) than a 20. You are going to be lighter on a 19 than a 20. The more mass you have, further from the center of rotation, increases the amount of energy needed to accelerate and decelerate the wheel. It's the same concept as going to a CF driveshaft. It's not the weight reduction in it's raw form, its the reduction in energy needed to spin the shaft. Also, since the 20 will be heavier, it's increases your unsprung weight, requiring more spring and more shock to tame it.

If you #1 criteria is tire choice, then go to a 20. If you just want a track tire, there are plenty made in the 19" range to choose from.

I've not run 20s, so I can't vouch for back to back "feel", but the science is there as WItoTX says. If I could fit 18s I'd use them for track (and even more tire selection there) but I haven't been willing to invest in changing out the front brakes.

I've not had trouble finding 19" tires - SC2, GY SC3/SC3R, etc. It may be tougher in slicks, but they exist.

Quick offtopic question - do you see any noticeable improvement on track after installing this spoiler versus stock PP2 lip?

Not yet on this short handling track at LVMS, but will test it at Auto Club Speedway in Nov. I'm hoping should be noticeable at end of front straight, about 145+.

For our S550s stick with square 19x11" set, plenty to choose on wheels and tires as mentioned above. I'm going to F1 3Rs which won't cycle out as quick as SC2s, but needs longer to warm up so don't overdrive them when cold.

I guess I'm debating style vs purpose. Realistically, getting to the track consistently is a bit challenging. Besides autocross, track days are 1-3 hours away generally.
