I have had no issues with them, however I just go into the showroom and order what I need in person. The issue with slow shipping is some things are not stocked at their warehouse but drop shipped from supplies.

I ordered my turn signals through them, one of them was wonky. I called and they sent me a new set, only asking for a pic of the bad one beaten to pieces. I was gonna order my Cervini exhaust through them until I found out shipping was $400 and it would be shipped from the supplier. I went to Cervini’s website and ordered it straight from them for $100 shipping. I’ve gotten lots of parts for my 67 with no issues.

I just bought the rear spring isolator supper and lower for my new springs coming in; and they double charged me after 5 days of my order, over drafted my account (I use a separate savings with money specifically for stuff) and I even paid extra for shipping so it like get here all at one time. And Nada.

I don’t get any helpful answers, I paid $21 for expedited shipping, and it’s been 5 days since my order and they haven’t even shipped it yet.

what a nightmare. I should’ve just ordered from lethal performance like I was originally going to. Good grief.

you guys have any bad experiences?
I've never had a negative experience with CJ Pony parts. They've been great

I ordered from them about 7 or 8 times with 1 return and I never had a problem.

If more companies had a good real time inventory that is shown on the product page, then we wouldn't be paying for back ordered stock.
I agree, although a lot of the Ford and Ford Performance parts are drop shipped. So CJPP (and others) may not have the most accurate stock status on those things (probably further proves your point especially from the Ford/FP side).

Sounds like you paid with a debit card. When you pay for something with a credit card or debit card, an authorization is created for the amount of the charge to verify your credentials and funding. Once funding and credentials are verified, the charge is created. While it looks like you were double charged, you weren't. The original authorization will be placed back in your account in 3-5 business days. As a business owner for 20+ years, we received this particular complaint weekly. Word to the wise....don't pay with a debit card that is tied to your bank account. This has nothing to do with CJ Pony Parts. They didn't double charge you - this is how debit cards work.
Funnily enough whilst I do know about his general debit transactions work, the accounting department employee at the custom support line, confirmed that I was charged twice and issued me a refund. It has never happened to me like that before.

I bought a steering wheel from CJ Pony but experienced a health crisis before I had a chance to install it and realize it was defective. I tried to exchange it but they could care less because it was beyond their warranty period. Their total lack of care about the quality of such a critical safety product was a lesson for me not to do business with them again. In contrast, Lethal Performance bend over backwards to maintain excellent customer support when I had a vibration issue on a carbon fiber drive shaft I purchased from them.

I tried to order a small part knowing i would have to pay shipping. But they wanted something like $12 for a small part they were shipping through usps..Went to American muscle and got the same part for a similar price but $4 shipping

I dislike companies that use shipping as a profit center. Yes, I know they have to pay someone to package it up if it's shipped inhouse and I don't mind paying a small amount for that. But charging 3 or 4 times the actual shipping costs is egregious. Especially if it’s being dropshipped and they pass 4 times the shipping cost to the customer.

I've purchased quite a few things from CJ PP over the years. I liked BIll's videos, and I try to support companies that help enthusiasts. I've never had a problem with CJ PP.

The original post kind of sounds like you had insufficient funds in your account. I use a debit card on my checking account for every single purchase and never, ever had any issues at all.

I had the perfect amount for it, enough obviously bc it took it, and then it took it twice and overdrafted it lol.

This is the first transaction that I’ve ever had do that. Never before in any transaction ever. I keep my card like that in case someone takes the number over a virus or something so they wouldn’t be able to buy anything.

no idea, I’ve never had an issue before this. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would talk to your bank and see if they will take back the overdraft charge. Most will unless if you explained what happened.

You're a brave and lucky guy. I hope your luck holds.
Using a debit card leaves you open to losing everything in your checking account and any account linked to it. Using a credit card is a far safer option. Not only does it give you dispute rights if a seller makes a mistake, fails to perform, or tries to cheat you, you're only liable for the first $50 if your card number is ever stolen. It's a whole lot more difficult to correct mistakes or theft with a debit card.

Only takes one hack and a big withdrawal and you have a mess.
My bank sent me one but I locked it and never use it.

Instead I use my double points card and get 2% back on all purchases.

I personally have had good luck with CJ. Ordered multiple times and returned twice. Never an issue other than the return takes a bit but the money always came back.
