Elite Package worth the money?

Thanks Atlas, I’m the same way I know HP was a must and I also do not listen to the radio very much.

If it doesn't we will both hold Atlas1 accountable...lol.

In all seriousness aside I wasn't a big fan of the mach1 coming from a Shelby gt350/GS corvette but when I saw the HP I was quickly pulled in.

Like you I went back in forth and Atlas1 helped coached me into it so I look forward to the day it arrives.

Can't wait to be able to play my cd's again. Guess I am showing my age!

I believe it's the only car left that still has a cd player.

For those with the B&O system, try turning the bass down. Its way to boomy and muddies the system. Whomever did the equalization for this system really messed up. I heard the B&O in the Mustang, we have it in our Escape and I ran a pink noise generator with a mic to see frequency response and it was way to prevelant with the Bass and upper bass clouding the midrange.

I didn't get to order my Mach. The dealer did. If I could have I would have opted for it. These cars are crazy money for what your getting as it is. Might as well spend a couple more bucks and get the works if you think your going to use it or regret not getting it.

Only soundtrack I listen to is that sweet Coyote. I never even turn on the radio on. Lol

I ordered it, I'm sure you could probably do better with aftermarket amps and speakers but I didn't want to go that route. My horrible reasoning is the Mach 1 is already so expensive that you might as well pony up and go full in and get it loaded so I got the 700A and elite package (I feel it's overpriced or less of a value than a 1LE, but a better 'car'). I have the B&O system in my loaded '19 F150 and it's okay-I couldn't stomach anything less so I hope this system is at least as good.

Agreed, I hate Sirius and XM they sound like 128kbps MP3s or even worse. I love the way our B&O sounds like now after turning the bass down to like 3 clicks from the bottom. Bass is still deep but tight now and the sytem sounds great.

I love the B&O. I'm no HiFi purist/audiophile, but I can judge quality of audio having decent HiFi speakers at home, and B&O is fully sufficient to me in quality (with 320 kbps mp3s).

I did not get the elite package, in fact I chose the 600a with the HP over the 700a simply because I did not personally see the value (and still don’t) in the elite package.

Had their been a performance upgrade, I would have definitely bought in for all the bells and whistles.

I have zero regrets with what I chose, and I’m loving every minute driving mine.

That said, it’s your choice to live with, and you should make sure you are absolutely happy with a car with this sort of price tag before purchasing it.

As an additional note, like I have said in a different thread, had I been a fan of the FJG package, I certainly would have gotten all that the 700a would have offered, as I do see value there.

I also firmly believe that it’s pretty amazing the MACH1 offers enough differences to personalize it, while not offering any real bad choices. It’s truly a vehicle where there is no “wrong” choice, and you really don’t have to sacrifice to pick what you want.

As a previous owner of a Procharged 03 Mach, I really feel this is going to be a fun, special vehicle. Thanks again
