Hey need a little help. Thinking of installing my Autometer Cobalt Mechanical boost gauge I picked up. In the instructions it says there is a port for 1/8 npt on the passenger side. I am not seeing anything over there but I do see something on the drivers side that I think might be it. I have the 2650 stage 2 kit. Would that be the correct one to install my boost guage in?

Yep that’s it.

If anyone is interested, I have a brand new in box UPR dual catch can setup specifically for the 18-19 GT Edelbrock TVS2650 cars. I bought it and found out it won't work with my Lethal fuel system. The cans are supposed to mount right where Lethal had me put both my regulators.

Part No. 5030-248-1
$320 + shipping?

I'm on the fence of trying to custom mount them somewhere else, but then I'd need to re-do the cut-to-length hoses.

A lot of my local GM friends and shops seem to keep recommending me the Mighty Mouse can, but the Motion Raceworks can looks like a similar design anyway.

Finally finished the return fuel system 1050x combo and decided to pulley down to a 3.0" on my stg1 6-rib. Had Lund change me over to E85 and what a monster the car is now. I see a 2.8" in my future.

2.8" is really fun, just make sure you get the zux idler bracket as well, you will some belt slip w/o it. The 3" is solid though, I trapped 142mph with it and a buddy of mine did 143mph with it and aux idler

Thats bc the Mighty Mouse is what they use, it's a good can, but you need something with 10AN(5/8") hoses, not 1/2 like they use in the Ls's...You want to either run the Motion Raceworks vented can or the UPR vented one, I've ran both on 2 different cars and both work just fine

I've heard people say not to drop below 3.25" on 93 but I've seen a few other 18s running 3" pulleys. Is there any problem with the 3"? I've got ID1050X injectors and a BAP, been thinking about trying out the 3". Currently making 654rwhp on 93 with VP Octanium.

Well I'm running E85 so I'm fine with it. I wouldn't run anything more than 10psi on a gen3 and 93 IMO

Not enough octane .... There is no head room for bad gas and no cooling effect that the e does as well. You're already pouring an expensive additive in the tank to keep the octane levels up.

So I finally got the ID1050x's in. PITA.

The only way I could get them in was to NOT use the rail retaining clips and the top hat clips that the injector comes with...

I have pressurised the fuel system and it doesn't look like I have any leaks...

Any thoughts??

None of us used the clips when it came to the ID's. In-fact, a lot of us had to slot/index the fuel rails to get the bolt aligned properly.

You're fine.

Ok. She's alive!!!

Started right up on the base tune.

It's running pretty rich... it's thrown a few codes for O2 sensor stuck rich... I'm thinking this might be a base tune issue???

I've also got the airbag light on the dash as well. Thoughts?

Now gotta put it back together and deal with the broken bumper clips...
