So is there like a SC that is better suited for someone with 3.73's? I was thinking the Edelbrock would be a good match. I really should but don't want the expense of changing my gears.

LOL I knew someone was going to bite on that. What I think he means to say is that just because the edelbrock is rated lower doesn't mean that it's inferior. Some folks don't need or want 650+ hp.
A centri would be a little easier to control with 3.73's But I have 3.73's now with my Whipple and I don't mind it at all. A good bit of shifting going on, but I don't mind shifting. I bought a stick... Eventually I will throw some 3.31's in there.. but definitely not in a hurry for it. It's nice tho that the 3.31's will get you well up over 60mph in 2nd gear.So is there like a SC that is better suited for someone with 3.73's? I was thinking the Edelbrock would be a good match. By inferior I'm talking strictly about efficiency. The edelbrock Design is inferior in that respectInferior for what you want...but alas too many people on here think everyone else should install what "they" want.
I consider the Ecoboost an inferior motor compared to the 5.0...but that doesn't mean people shouldn't buy it.
I was really hoping for an update from "Rangerjames" on this subject because he's had one installed. As far as I know, he's the only one that can give us some real world feedback. I was hoping that by bringing this thread back to the top of the FI section, he would chime in. I really wasn't looking for this to turn into another "whipple is better" thread. This thread is useless until someone buys one of these, and provides feedback. Would like to hear some real world results. I personally wouldn't buy one of these over the other options, but I do like the idea of more SC options out there. All I ever see or hear about is stupid ass Whipple's![]()
