So I recently ran into an issue when trying to get my car ready for emissions. The past few years I haven't needed to pass emissions so I ran catless longtubes. Now I need an emissions test so I installed some cats and loaded my emissions tune from Lund. The car feels like it runs well on the...
So, I've taken a lot of this advice and upgraded to 6 pistons and will replace the radiator and undertray soon. I have some 19x11 wheels coming so I'm looking at tires. I know the most common size for a square setup for track is 305/30 but I found some Sport Cup 2s for a good price in 305/35/19...
Nope, not harsh. I want this input. Realistically I'm a few years from pushing it very hard but I'd hate to cook the engine before I get to that point. I'll only be able to make a handful of track days a year with this. PP radiator I got dirt cheap, wouldn't bother me to toss it and find...
Yea, very good points. I know I need to upgrade the brakes. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Either way this has been good info. I have a "larger" radiator (PP stock) I've been meaning to put in but I'm still on the 4 pistons. Maybe I'll just buy a camber plate for my current setup and spend...
This is good info, just to clarify, MCS meaning... KW Mustang Clubsport? I'd rather buy the correct kit the first time. Even if that means spending a bit more than I initially planned.
Steeda mentioned 250 or 275 pound but that seemed too light, I was considering 350 or 375. It's not my daily so I don't mind a little harsher ride. I believe my current rate is around 300 and it rolls a little more than I'd like in a hard turn, part of why I'm considering the swap to coilovers.
So I started autocrossing my Fiesta ST last year and want to get into some HPDE and autocross events with my Mustang. I already have some suspension upgrades (Steeda sway bars, eibach pro kit springs, koni special active struts/shocks, a bunch of other little things) and now I'm getting ready to...
Well, apparently ARP wheel studs are out of stock for a while so I bought OPMustang 14MM GT4 wheel studs instead, just waiting for the wheel spacers to come back in stock. Hopefully these don't poke too bad.
I know this has been discussed and from what I've read I understand the way to make a 305 rotatable square setup is longer studs and 25mm spacer with some extra negative camber. I'm mostly curious if the parts I'm looking at are what people suggest. I'm looking to buy some 19x11 +50 SVE R355...
Yea I am, I'm just skeptical whether the other systems aren't going to ready just because the O2 sensor isn't plugged in. Cheap enough to give it a shot though.
Anyone have any issues getting emissions codes to ready? I'm catless and understand that monitor wont set, which I can work around, but the only monitors that wont set after thousands of miles of driving are EVAP, EGR, O2 and HO2. I've been trying to speak with Lund but they seem to want to pass...
Yep, the bearing just behind the pulley in the SC. Talked to edelbrock and they want the entire head unit shipped but also mentioned that could be risky and cause more damage. Probably just going to have a friend press it out and replace it.
So I just started getting a whine from my supercharger behind the pulley. I'm guessing it's the bearing. Increases with RPM, used a stethoscope to pinpoint it although it's pretty loud. Anyone had this issue before? Is that bearing easy to replace?
