I'm in the process of getting Lund tuned and they wanted me to regap the plugs to 28. I thought I might as well get new plugs since I have had these for a year. Are you guys just getting the NGK 6510 to replace the ones that came with the kit? The parts store guy said they would not fit. He didn't seem like an expert but it gave me enough doubt to check here first.

NGK 6510 is a common spark plug for Coyotes with forced induction.

And for reference: The spark plugs supplied with stage 2 kits are Ford Racing M-12405-M50A gapped to .034. 28 is a little tight but should work if you’re going fairly extreme .

Which begs the next question...how many of you have tightened the gap after getting a custom tune? I had mine dyno tuned, but left them at .034. I haven't had any issues with high rpms, so I just left them that way.

My Stage1 kit had the Ford Racing 1 step colder pre-gapped at 0.034. I changed them to 0.028. I think it's NGK that makes the Ford plugs anyway...

looks like a vacuum leak but I have no idea of where.

How accurate is that ecoboost boost gauge? I've been meaning to change out my PP vac gauge out for one, but wasn't sure if it would even work with an aftermarket blower.

On that topic, I have an older gen1 series ngauge. Lund website says it's boost box only works for gen 2 ngauges. What are my options for logging boost on an older ngauge?

I’m not sure how accurate the gauge is. I went with it because of ease of installation and seeing that a lot of people here is it too. Edlebrock said it isn’t really accurate due to the way it operates. There is a port on the back of the blower for a better gauge.
I haven’t been able to get into boost due to it going super lean. There is something really wrong with my car. Not sure if it’s the S.C./Tune/ installation errors are all 3.

I was going to install the ECO boost gauge as well but decided to do a vent pod with a nice gauge. As mentioned the small nylon cable is routed from the Gage through the firewall to the back of the supercharger. There is an NPT plug that you simply unscrew but you will need the correct fitting with a crush washer to hook it up properly.

What fuel? Lund hasn’t asked me to change plugs from what came with the EB Stage 2 kit.

93. They were fine with the FRPP that came with the kit just regapped, but I've already been running them a year so I figured I might as well switch to a fresh set.

I didn’t get that exact memo from Lund for my Whipple OR Eddy but it was stated in both cases that 6510’s at 0.028” is the go. Mine are always gapped at 0.027-0.029” as a result.
PBD had the exact same figure.
More boost, more chance of blowing the candles out.

Stage 1 here, stock manifolds and cats. Before I changed the setup from the 3.25", I was seeing 10.5psi on my dyno logs. Verified that with a mechanical boost gauge. I just went with a 3.5" and it's now a hair over 9psi.
