No. They don’t like the BBK. They also told me a few months ago they won’t tune the 87mm either. Maybe that’s changed now and if it has, I’ll go that way as well.

I’d confirm they will tune it... then post up!

Well shit, if not then it will be for sale and I will look at alternatives. It's the same TB from a GT350 so I don't see why it would be an issue. 15-17 is analog (what I have) and 18+ is digital so maybe one is a problem and the other isn't?

Shot a message off to Lund to see what they say. Their menu when selecting options for a tune does include GT350 87mm TB so I assume they will tune with it if its in their listed options.

Also checked the 2300 SC install guide and the supplied spark plugs are instructed to be gapped at .035.

This all may be the next owner's decision because I am probably selling in a couple months anyways. Deciding if I add these parts and get it tuned first or let the next person customize these bits with what they want. Hmmmmmm.............

That’s good.

I’m interested to hear if they’ll tune it or not. I hope they will now! I’ll go that route.

As far as selling, what are you looking to replace it with? If you get it done, you may just want to keep it lol.

I'm being asked if I have the iat2 harness? Is this the same harness that's included in the install kit (attaches to temp sensor on back of manifold then to MAF) or something else?

Yes. They're asking because other manufacturers do it differently (Roush, for example). You should be good.

Thanks for all the help. Was told everything looks good while adding the NGK spark plugs. Also GT350 tb will work but "Please be aware the GT350 throttle may lead to some slight hesitation issues".

So then I asked about just keeping the stock throttle body and was told "if you have the stock one it's not a bad idea to stick with it". I will gladly sacrifice some hp to make it drive smooth with no hesitation.

Anyone want to buy a 15-17 GT350 87mm throttle body?? LOL

Did anyone ever figure out the over the counter option? I think it was a Chevy something. Is it plug and play or is splicing required?

Different plug. I was one of the first to get the new sensor, and EB just sent me an adapter to link the old plastic harness to the new brass sensor.

I’m so frustrated with this kit. Nothing but issue after issue for me. 91 tune, stall after starts, surging, light switch power, oscillating idle.
thought the 93 tune fixed everything. Seemed to be better. Then today 3x it stalled after starts, weird throttle response, again with the no response between certain positions. then it threw a misfired code.
I’m sending the car back to the installing dealer but I’m thinking there’s more to the issue with their tunes. If this is the way EB tunes, they need to give up and coordinate with a better company. seeing so many people having issues with tunes and similar issues is inexcusable in my opinion. Then, EB acts like they’ve never heard of the problems from others. Data log after data log sent to them but they will not make adjustments.

I had the same issues. A few times I had to plug back into the stock TB, revert back to the stock tune file, and then reload the EB tune with the wiring harness plugged back into the 103mm TB. For some reason, the TB would have issues with the tune.

@Speedbump I agree. I had the same conversation with them when I was having trouble with mine. Seems like maybe they could get Lund to write them a base tune for those of us who don’t give a F about CARB. That’s the real reason they won’t change anything.

Oscillating idle? Did you check to make sure the air filter hasn’t fallen off?
It seems to be a theme of sorts.

Yes I did. I’ve gone through all of the connections I can get to. I am having the dealer do a smoke test to check for a vacuum leak.
