If you know how to read logs it is not dangerous.
I'm quite verse at reading logs. Reading them while at WOT is something else. Also, I don't care what the AF trim says in the gauge panel.

Well there are 2 gas station that my buddy uses that have tested with high E85 in the ball part of 80 to 84%. I also found an Orion gas station that has E90 which states that its 90% Ethanol. I would love to try it out but once I'm tuned. I'm waiting for my 2021 GT to come.
E90 won't really get you any performance boost unless you're tuned for it. Even then, there's only so much timing advance an engine can run. If you're at max/optimal timing on e85, and not knocking, then running e90 will do nothing but tax your injectors more than necessary. I'd ask your tuner before you play around with it.

Always love when this topic comes up. I mix 87 octane with a few gallons of e85 in my ecoboost ranger. The guys on the ranger forum told me my engine should have blown by now!:crazy:With the price gap between 87 octane and 93 currently at about 70 cents a gallon here in Jersey. I figure I save about $500 dollars a year by adding e85 as apposed to just buying 93. I think the benefits of the higher octane in the e30 mix in a boosted 4 banger. outweighs the .5 mpg loss in fuel economy The 1/3 less mileage thing is greatly exaggerated.

I tend to agree...when mixing, losing 10-15% off your full tank range isn't THAT much, but when you are used to seeing ~350 on a tank, then you only see 300, you notice it. Especially if your daily work round-trip is 50 miles.

On gas, I get ~350 on a tank. On 100% E-85 I get ~215. In the summer when E-85 is much cheaper than 87, E-85 pulls ahead. ESPECIALLY when you pick up ~40HP :)

In the winter the cost around here is much closer, so for convenience, I switch back to the factory tune and just run 87.

I switch to E-85 in the summer for the performance. I switch to 87 in the winter for the mileage...tires are too cold to make much use of the extra power anyway.

If it's true e 85 and your 93 is real e 10 that makes e 31

There is enough 'slack' in the fuel controller to handle E20. You can get away with E30 but a tune would be advised to actually make use of it. In any event doing max-effort pulls without a tune is probably ill-advised.

I tested E30 with my car, the st's were running about 10% so my car is safe.

I still don't trust anything over e15 without a tune.
