I'm calling it a day. AZ has not offered more than 91 at the pump for a really longI dare say, it happens more than you know. I have personally gotten 93 fuel in Arizona (of all places) that showed as E30 more than once on my many trips back and forth to Texas…lemme see if I can find the pic of the Lund reader![]()
But apparently the Tampa terminal doesn't check if the gasoline prefers to self-identity as diesel. They have
to certify all fuels are blended correctly
Are you talking about fast lane at McDowell and Mckellips?I can ask the owner of the station as he is very active in the community. But I’m pretty sure he is specifically getting ethanol this high from the supplier. There are other stations in the area that are getting 54% or 83%. But he seems to specifically want the 98%. It’s been consistent for a few years I believe. At least 2 years that I know of.
my bad, I buy the highest grade I can on the road (and normally that is 93 but my tune is set for 91 once I leave Texas) but the point was I got 30% just outside of KABQ a few months back, still looking for the pic I sent my tunerI'm calling it a day. In AZ when do the proprietary add packs get added?
Additive is injected during the loading process continuosly by the CC.
Just a rough figure would probably be a total of 4 gallons of additive
for 9000 gallons. There are minimum requirements. Top tier stations
have slightly more additive than others. Myself, I try and buy Chevron or
Shell, but any top tier station should give you good results. Depends
more on the quality of the stations tanks, one nitwit delivery driver can
really create problems, as you might imagine.
Think of it this way: Most places today, all the gasoline is coming out of
the same tank, or tanks, unleaded and premium in their own tanks, of course.
Chevron Shell and other major companies have their own additive, all the
others use a generic additive, which is just as high quality.
I does in the bottle I shake it up in.I don't think MMO mixes with alcohol. I know it won't mix with Methanol.
There is a in the zone around mckellips in Scottsdale that has “premium e85” that’s over 90% I’ve heard. But the one I’m referencing is Valvista and Broadway. Consistently high 90% e content. Are you talking about fast lane at McDowell and Mckellips?
In this context, anhydrous is not inconsistent w/ hydrophilic (even though there are compounds which are both). The E85 out here tests reliably at close 90% and the remaining content is not water. Spill a little and it will evaporate rapidly and leave no trace. I doubt there is any significant amount of water in our E85. Furthermore, Ethanol is also lipophilic - any drunk will tell you that. Which is why I think MMO seems to dissolve in E85 as well.Uhhh, it is hydrophilic.
I don't want to be a FB hater, but why not publish as a custom overlay on Google maps? There's probably a couple already started and just add to it. Eg someone put together one for every restaurant mentioned in Food Network shows.we have a map of all the e54 and e85 stations
It is a custom google map thing. The link is on the Facebook group hahaI don't want to be a FB hater, but why not publish as a custom overlay on Google maps? Yeah I don't do Facebook lol. I've been out to the station your talking about but it's been years. It used to be out of E more often than it had it so I stuck with the mckellips location. Never caught them out of it. Haven't run it in almost 3 years now but probably switching back soon. There is a in the zone around mckellips in Scottsdale that has “premium e85” that’s over 90% I’ve heard. If you aren’t in it yet join the e85 Arizona Facebook group. Lots of people post about stations all over the state and we have a map of all the e54 and e85 stations
