So I finally got my car tuned and dynoed and I dont know I feel about it. Numbers def seem lower than what I've seen/heard.

GT350 IM
Stock TB
Roush Intake
Full Corsa Exhaust (Catback and Headers)
Auto

tuned locally made 432/370 on the dynojet.

Is this about normal or low for the mods? Anyone else with the same mods? Is it worth swapping to a PMAS?

I having my Dyno'd on Monday at Dallas Mustang with:

1. Ford Performance Pack 2 with GT350 TB and CAI
2. Ford Performance Touring Exhaust
3. Manual / 3.55

My tune likely won't be as aggressive as yours. I'll come back here and post my numbers. I really have no clue what to expect myself, and was hoping for over 400.

Is that on 93 octane? Torque seems a little on the low side.

Hard to tell anything without a datalog. Did you log the dyno pulls?

Also, could just be a low reading dyno. All dynos read differently. Temperature, tire pressure and many other factors can affect readings. We all do it, but dyno number chasing is semi-pointless. The same car can give wildly different readings on different dynos or even the same dyno on different days/conditions.

If you dyno'd the car in 4th gear it'll always read lower than you might be used to seeing. There's no 1:1 gear in the 6R80.

1) Curve of powerband
2) This is why people dyno before and after, the dyno is a measurement device that is not absolute, reference points are needed.

This.

Also your peak numbers sound right for 4th gear in the auto.

Looks about right. I'm running the GT350 IM with 1 7/8ths header, full catless exhaust, GT350 Intake, and I'm right around 450whp. At least according to the dyno.

How much horsepower do you think you'll gain if you went to a E85 tune?

like he said, 4th gearing is 1.14. Also, the gt350 TB has legitimate gains if tuned properly.

Very similar to my car, pre E85 tune. I have same mods though exhaust brand is different. I made 430rwhp/375rwtq SAE prior to adding the Circle D tq converter...it went up slightly after that to 435/380 and then topped off at 454/400 SAE with the E85 tune. So I would say we made very similar numbers with same mods.

As far as the A6, the best mod I did was the Circle D tq converter. It isn't the only aftermarket tq converter on the market of course but seems to be popular. My stock one failed so I had to replace it, so went aftermarket. It felt like the car lost 200lbs and the acceleration is night and day from stock.

I made 440whp on a 91 tune, stock intake (mods in sig). Dyno's for me are a tool, not a definitive HP indicator. That's what the 1/4 mile is for.

This was with e85 in the tank. Which is why I was disappointed.
What was the correction factor? Dyno’s can obviously vary so I wouldnt be too worried about it. If it runs well, strong in the 1/4 mile, thats what counts.
