As bank my money on AED being best in the game for Cobra Jet tunes.

Shaun has the CJ setups locked down hes done a crap load of testing CJs vs other manifolds also. Not to mention it was used on his own car that went basement 10s NA.

I had him do my 2016 CJ on flex fuel.

Edit if your not making power past 6600 you need some VCT tuning!! The coyotes are pretty sensitive to VCT tuning. Itll make or break a setup. Beings you made 500 its impressive no doubt but peak power at like 6600 is well below what that mani is capable of.

I had almost 30 degrees intake and like 20 degrees exhaust timing on my CJ setup.

Id have to go dig through my logs again but id be curious what your making.

Now Iā€™m curious what my cam timing was. We logged the run I just havenā€™t looked at it yet, but later for sure

How much timing you can run overall and VCT tuning is gigantic on these engines!

Also 6,600 with out the magnaflow. Maybe itā€™s not as big of a restriction as I think
I think it may be. You have ~14 in^2 (3" from each bank) going into ~7 in^2 (3" in the MF muffler), which is less than the 7.95 in^2 (2.25" cat outlet to catback for each bank) of the stock exhaust. You're pushing substantially higher flow.

LT headers also shift the power peak to lower rpm, FYI, even if they do shift it up in power, as well.

The point imo of the cobra jet is also pretty much sustaining that power from 6600-7800 (hard to tell how high you ran it?). 500 whp that low is good on street car. Drive it and enjoy it. Jesus...

This kinda confirms your max hp being @ 6600 rpms on 18. VMP test of 6-7 manifolds.

Iā€™ll probably just end up building my own system either with 2 3ā€ magnaflowā€™s or 2 3ā€ Flowmasterā€™s and an x pipe. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve heard an S550 with Flowmasterā€™s yet

For good reason: drooooonnneeee.

I'd do what others have done with the resonators ahead of the mufflers and possibly ahead of the X pipe.

Thatā€™s what I have now. Iā€™m thinking back to the days (90-93) when Fox bodyā€™s with flows ruled the streets. I guess Iā€™m just chasing that sound

Iā€™m definitely all about the ā€˜yote just looking for that perfect sound that nobody has, but everyone wants.

Unfortunately firing order, head design and exhaust architecture prevent that from really happening. Going to a super deep tone with this engine/car will give you drone that makes your head explode. The ARH catback might be closer in sound.

I thought Corsa Xtreme on stock headers was nearly perfect for the S550 (modern, aggressive, more sports car than muscle car), just a bit too loud. It misses a little depth in the low revs that the Sport catback has more of, but the Sport is not as ferocious/violent sounding up top and I miss that a little.
