Hey guys. Following up from my last post, but does bad suspension always have to make noise?

I haven’t had the chance to go to my parents house yet to get it checked out, but does bad suspension always have to make any sort of noise?

I guess I’m worried if I push the car hard something will break.

I looked about a month ago when I was there last, and everything looked good. Yanked on the wheels 6 and 12 o clock, 9 and 3 o clock, and no noticeable movement.

a lot mentioned bad vertical links/toe link bearings as a possibility but I guess I’m just afraid of something breaking suddenly? What are the chances of that?

my car makes zero noise at all besides a semi noisy clutch. I guess I’m just one to be paranoid but how bad will it truly get before something breaks?

i plan to go check it all out on Saturday.

Whats the problem again? New thread so get us caught back up

No, minor suspension problems don’t always make noise, it all depends

I mean there’s not really any problem

just been dealing with my car either tramlining badly or bad suspension in the rear. Not sure.

people just brought up stuff that was wrong with their cars (vertical links, toe link bearings bad) and it makes me kind of anxious until I can get under the car.

I’m just one to get paranoid/stress about stuff breaking even though in reality it’s fine. I’m sorry about the new thread.

I must've missed the previous thread - what is pushing you to think there is any problem to begin with? If checking for anything, look at the differential bushings.. Those are a known failure point.. If not experiencing any sort of creaks, squealing, etc, though, then I'm not sure what there's to fret about.

I guess the feeling scary to drive over bad roads is what makes me think something is wrong. But I’m just so paranoid about small stuff.

Describe what you're feeling - like does it feel as if you're floating? Is it only on uneven surfaces? Is the rear kicking out over bumps?

Just get a squirmy feeling over painted lines/stripes, like my tires just eat them up. Feels scary.

Any road that dips, has bad grooving it follows it.

It’s pretty scary on some roads. Drives straight as an arrow, and super smooth on nice roads.

grooved roads are the worst.

Nope. But for mw, I did replace my BMR rear vertical links, Camber links, Toe Arms with AAD parts. I had a lot of popping and squeeking noises while hard cornering which I did not like. Good Luck

Well, get over to your parents place ASAP. Thats the next step. If you have concerns, dont drive it hard until then.

I just don’t know what to look for. I’ve shaken the wheels, I’ve inspected the bushings, but nothing truly looks off to me.

I have some play in this bushing on both sides. The bushing is pretty beat.
What is the best method of replacement? Replacing just the bushing or replacing the whole RLCA? I cannot really find it anywhere to purchase the whole assembly online.
