There are a couple cars that I have seen posted in S550 Facebook groups that are getting these cams installed with their setups. I think we are about 2-3 weeks away from getting their NA numbers.

Good news! Looking forward to seeing what kind of NA power can be put down.

Same here. I think one of them will be a CJ or GT350IM/TB setup, too :)

I will be running them in about 3 weeks. Got them for my n/a build going on at rev auto. Also have a stage 3 cnc head porting and polishing, oversized ferrea stainless steel intake and exhaust valves. Boss springs gt-350 intake and t.b. Tss billet pump gears, American racing long tubes and full 3" exhaust and a 5c converter. And other supporting stuff. Going for 500 rwhp!

Reading the Coyote comp cams article from enginelabs.com.....there is a significant power & torque loss below 5200 rpm! 50 hp peak gain way up high in rpm, but again the dyno graph looks like you lost ~ 50 hp at 3500 rpm. 5200 rpm before you see anything but a loss!! $1600 for the cams alone. Add that this is fairly involved wrenching, plus cam phaser tuning that will probably be constantly tweaked around to prevent stumbles and other issues.....No thanks.

I'd rather save for a supercharger....

Similar, though more severe, as what happens when you install an intake manifold. Sacrificing lowend torque and power for more beef up top.

Nothing a great dynotune, 8000 rpm redline, and 5c converter cant solve!!! In this game its not about how well you start off it's about how you finish!

I believe those are the Stage 3 cams, which are designed for top end power. I would doubt you would lose that much low end power on the stage 1 or 2 cams. Plus the car is running a Boss manifold.
