Yep, good combo. I was considering NA but with no torque converter so that I could track the car.

Definitely post results/review. :)
There are a few of us here waiting for his results. That's quite a few goodies he has going on there.

These engines rev soo high soo fast that any low end loss really won't matter at least not to me. Especially since most of the time racing is spent in the upper RPMs. With lots of cam installs you do lose some on the bottom end. You can't have it all. But you'll gain a crap load up top. Plus you can offset it with gears and a torque converter. I wouldn't be too worried about the small losses on the low end.

Curious, what would you recommend for AT 3.15, CAI, Kooks green cats, GT350 IM, and stock converter for auto-x and maybe some road course?

Ahh man I hope I don’t get killed for resurrecting this but just trying to do my due research.

Do Comp stage 3 CR NSR N/A cams require limiters on a Gen 2? Mixed info out there.

Was a tune ever developed for blower cams on N/A build (if you’re planning on forced induction say later)?

Trying to decide between stage 2 & 3 comp cams for my N/A Gen 2 build.

What I meant to ask is do I need VCT phaser limiters with comp stage 3 cams? I understand they don’t need springs.

as it says, the stage 3 will need the limiters, due to the size of the cam

You know I appreciate your candor. I’m actually very literate FYI. Here is another source saying they do not hence why I came to the forums. Thank you for the expertise.

You do not need limiters. You can keep full vct function. I recommend springs and retainers but it’s also not required.

If you are for sure going boost soon just keep stock cams. The stage 3 N/A push your rpm band really high to where you don’t make power till 5k rpm.

I didn't see you weren't pulling the info from Comps website, Per comp, there info does not say any limiters are needed.
