I hate to say it guys, but this looks eerily similar to the offering from others that was sourced out of china for some time now.

You could get them off ebay or from function factory or from another outfit in California. I'm sure some of them are legit CF but my spider sense is that these are all basically made by the same Chinese shops and sold by different vendors now. Vicrez is now selling them in ABS and "CF" and I'm sure they're coming from the same sources as the higher end boutique shops.

I went on Anderson's site and saw that I could leave an email for notification as to when the wing became available. I figured that maybe I might hear from them in January some time when they are actually ready to ship. They sent me this auto generated email which sounds like what Don heard from Lethal...

I just hope January doesn't turn into March, then July, then December of 2022...
This is exactly what happened with MPR, they originally said Dec in July-Aug when I purchased it, that turned to Jan, then March, the May at which point they refunded my money and I went a different route.

And FFP based on images isnt a replica as the replicas are 1 piece and FFP is not as it seems to be in 3 pieces. Pic below:

I like to disassemble things.
Only difference is that this is the first time that you could actually order this wing from Anderson - I hope that means that delivered parts are that much closer to a reality.

FFP has been all over the map. They are the ones that claimed to have GT4 wings from Multimatic in stock. Thanks to them I had to come up with a Plan B when Multimatic put the kibosh of GT4 wing sales to the public.

That price is just right. That is what I have been saying all along what that wing should cost.

The offering from Anderson is completely unlike any of those you mentioned. I've posted photos of a prototype mounted (which are now shown at Anderson's site as well as Lethal's). The ones you mentioned were/are garbage.

To me, it looks like wing only. No mounts.

They probably should clarify but they do say Mounts with OE style brackets and hardware and then go on to show a non-OEM dogbone (I believe, need to see the other side of it to be certain) and the underside of the mounts they show is different from factory. Leads me to conclude they are included.

Something else...I assume the Anderson upright and base are 6061-T6 aluminum (no way they would be the OEM chopped CF). As such, it would make sense that they are doing the upright in two sections - the base as one and the "ladder" section as another. Multimatic does this with their GT4 upright and then welds the ladder section to the base. In the following photo I put an arrow to point out what I believe to be a weld as I think Anderson is doing the same thing as Multimatic. I don't believe the OEM chopped fiber has a bump in this location. Looks like weld to me.

OEM CFTP wing mount, look at the same spot...

Below is my GT4 wing, note the weld in the same area where the ladder section meets the base. The front has a similar weld.

The base has a slot that the other section slides into, which is then fully welded. My guess is that Anderson is doing something similar.

The ones with exposed bolt heads on the winglets are Chinese, as are the s-wings. Function Factory had their own built in China but it’s supposed to be an actual replica. It took them quite awhile to nail down the quality control.

Our bases are single-piece, non welded CNC machined aluminum. We made our own dog bones, they are not from another manufacturer. We tooled from the OE parts, excluding the drain hole slots on the GT500 wing. That design feature has a patent protection. More detailed images will be added to our website product listing.

Sounds like this will be even more popular than first expected. Nice job.

Thanks for the clarification. Is the wing on the orange car using a prototype that is welded, because it sure looks like it. If your base and upright section are one piece, holy cow that is big chunk of aluminum that you are knocking it out of.
Good to hear the dogbones are yours.

I wondered how you would handle drainage as I've posted the patent you mentioned before.

Looking forward to the additional photos being posted on your site. We have waited a long time for this wing from you and it sounds like it will indeed be worth the wait. And thanks for chiming in to further explain what this will be.

If I had to guess, in a similar but distinctly different method 🤣

@Anderson Composites,

Will the brackets and dogbones only be offered with the purchase of the wing, or will you be offering them up for sale for anyone to purchase? Interested in possibly changing to aluminium brackets or at least to have that option.

We did not add drain holes for rainwater at the end plates. We have 2 small drain holes about 1/16" on the bottom of wing for condensation. They are not visible on the top.
The orange GT350R we used for testing is the same bracket design.

Our dog bones and brackets are only available with purchase of either our CFTP wing or our GT350R Type-OE rear spoiler.
