The bottom of the hood with the added vent required approximately 1" added to the center to clear the strut bar. So if you changed or added height to the engine intake system over stock, you would technically still have hood clearance issue. See backside image attached.
No, we started with the GT350 OE hood that we make and increased the height for the vent to clear the strut brace. The vent is very similar in design as the GT500. The vents are not interchangeable.
Our GT500 hood for the factory GT500 was tooled from Ford's OE part. Our GT500 Style for the GT350 is approximately 1" taller in the center to clear the strut brace in the engine compartment. These two hoods are not interchangeable for either model car.
We do not plan to make the GT500 style vented fenders for the GT, sorry. Our GT350 style fenders for the GT are .4" wider than your stock fenders.

We verified that our current GT500 parts: rear swing spoiler, Gurney flap, rear diffuser, rear mud guards and our S550 Type-OE rockers do fasten to the Mach 1.
We have verified that our GT500 rear diffuser, rear mud guards, Type-OE rocker panels and GT500 "swing" rear spoiler and Gurney flap do fit the Mach 1 without any car modifications (for handling package equipped models). So you can swap all the factory plastic for our carbon components.
