Brake calipers

Does anyone know of lighter front and/or rear brake calipers for their gt350? Im going throw RB carbon brakes on my GT PP1. The rotors are about 45 pounds lighter than my pp1s, curious if anyone knows about lighter rotors.

??????? The 350 braking system is totally different than on a pp1
Different calipers, rotors, etc
.and racing brake do not offer anything for pp1, just 350 and 500 ( that i could find )

But the kit bolts right on with no modifications im aware of.

Fron what i am gathering, they fit right up. I may need different axles, but wverything should bolt right up. Ford Performance sells upgrade kits for oem gt350 brakes for regular s550

60 lbs? Is this really true? I've never seen this claim before, but 15 lbs a corner seems like a lot.

Nah, you're fine, I'm usually just uninformed. But even 12 lbs seems like a lot. Are you deleting your parking brake too?

Here, let me bring this all up to date...

1. The RB CCM rotors are available in either 394mm and 380mm for Ford Mustang and GT350. Take your pick. You can also get GM/Brembo rotors (that work with an RB hat) in 394mm.

2. The CCM rotors are lighter than the OEM GT350 rotors. These photos I posted show a 45 pound difference for all four corners, with 7 pounds each side at the rear and 15 pounds each side at the front.

3. If the OP stays with his OEM rear calipers he'll have emergency brakes. If not, then it's time to swap to the GT350 rear brake kit with the center drum brake.

I have the RB kit with RB rotors and calipers on all four corners. The lighter rotors give me most of the unsprung weight advantage that comes with CF rims without having to spend $14,000 per set for them. Another thing that doesn't come up much is the savings in consumables. Brake pads and rotors last a lot longer on CCM than on iron.

If you replace all your rotors with baer eradispeed+ drilled and slotted 2 piece steel rotors youll be down 21 lbs total for about 1/6th the cost.

Baer eradispeed+ drilled and slotted rotors for performance pack

26.8 lbs front (53.6 for the pair)
13.2 lbs for the rears (26.4 for the pair) 100 lbs total.

When brand new.

Looks like CCB only offers fronts for GT's and they advertise them as 14.5 lbs each here https://racingbrake.com/2c18/

so total of 29 lbs on the front rotors with CCB

53.6 on the front pair with baer eradispeed+ drilled and slotted

OEM GT PP 15" Front Rotor: 33.4lbs (66.8lbs pair)

so youll be saving 24.6 over the baers, and about 38 lbs over the OEM 1 piece steel..

That's why i never saw them. Someone listed them under the wrong category! Still going to look/ wait for rears and buy a whole set. Those brembo calipers maad heavy though :(
