Does running Boostane have any long term negative impact on the injectors, plugs or fuel pump? Can you run it as a daily?

I run it daily. It turns the plugs and exhaust orange, but other than that it has not caused any issues.

Only thing I can find are a lot of reports that it will hurt cats and o2 sensors over time. But, I don’t think I’ve seen any first hand reports. You’d think in this day and age there would be plenty of pics of failed parts with thick orange buildup, but I don’t think I found one. Seems like they might still use the chemical in question (MMT?) in Canada gas, but not sure how true that is. I think it’s mentioned in the mustang manual not to use it. I’ve used it a few times, but decided to just live with a tune for 91 octane because I got tired of mixing at fillips. Not what I wanted for a daily driver.

Whipple recommends it and says they have people that have been running it daily for months or more and no issues. It just gets expensive if you're doing it a lot.

Anyone with a Roush blower running Boostane? Roush's page says it doesn't recommend "Additives".

What about race fuel? When I researched that, it looks it contains "Additives" as well.. Roush doesn't mention anything about race fuel. Just says 91+ recommended.

Lund recommends it as I believe it doesn't settle like octanium or torco does.

I’ve got a Roush blower on my 17 and I’m going to be running boostane occasionally in about 3 months once I get some upgrades installed and get a boostane tune.

VMP sells it and also directly on the Boostane site like the previous poster mentioned.

I run Torco just to create a safety margin with the Roush. It’s VMP tuned. Not sure I’d use it with the Roush tunes as they’re rather conservative.
