I'm about to try this Boostane Professional with the PBD tune. With 93 octane gas, 4oz should boost it up to 97 octane. Going to monitor knockr for any change. Bought 1 32oz can of premium. I bought some 4oz amber glass bottles, and 2 big syringes to fill the bottles. It's better than buying 8, 4oz Boostane Shot bottles at $20.00 a shot. I'll keep it in a cool dark place. I'll monitor the plastic caps on the bottles to see if they start to melt. I got everything from Amazon.

Sorry if this is a little off topic but, I run 2 gal of E85 and the rest 93 octane every fill up and have had no issues, should be around 95 octane. Terry at Beefcake has mentioned same thing. E85 is everywhere by me though.

I put it in my lawnmower and mowed the lawn faster. Probably picked up 1hp to the wheels and more torque. My goggles where covered in bugs.

Been running Amazon Boostane since the Whipple install back in February, no issues to report yet.

Only have about 3k miles on the setup so far though, although that would be 20+ dragstrip passes, 1 dyno session and multiple street pulls.

Seems to do as they say in my opinion. My dyno and trap speeds are right on with the advertised kit HP on the Whipple.

Boostane says the following:

"Boostane Premium is for LOWER Compression Engines and 2 Stroke...."

I saw that it says it can allow you to reach 100 octane with a proper mixer. However, the wording of "lower compression engines" makes me wonder if I should only use "Professional"?

Anyone know of any ill effects of running premium?

Same thing it's just cheaper to use since you can use less to get an higher octane. it's what I buy.

this is what you want use.. expensive but you don't have to use it all in one tankful...

That is going to be more expensive for less octane boost.

For any of you that need some Boostane I do have some for sale at a discounted price. DM me for details. I have it for personal use, as I have used it in every tank for the last year.

Doesn't Octanium have a newer UNLEADED additive safe for O2's and Cats, I assume its been out for a while but that intrigues me since they say its safe for sensors. I think you guys running additives are are very smart, these kits require more than 93, we see problems happening and its gotta be octane related...

One bad tank of gas and u take a chance of ending up with a 5.0 paperweight....
