You’re not going to get all the benefits of adding any type of octane booster wether Boostsne or Torco. Your computer will adjust but will only adjust so much. The bad thing about a tune is now you’re stuck needing to add which ever octane booster all the time because your computer will start to reduce power and pull timing when you’re not at the threshold that it’s tuned for.
Will you experience something like under FI conditions? Like welding your piston to your block? No but can you do damage over time there’s definitely that chance. Me you keep running your 91 and add these octane booster either when you know you’re going to be running her hard or going to the strip. With out a tune you will not see any noticiable power gains at all.

Yeah spoke to Lund and they said it will adjust timing if it sees more oct since im running 91, they sent me a 100oct tune but it can only be ran with race gas not octane booster no matter how much I throw in, they said its not a good idea.
Listen to those guys they know their stuff. Good luck
This is what I use. I think it works great. I don’t use it in every tank. I just use it occasionally maybe every 20 or 25 tanks to have some fun on the weekend. I’ve got the same plugs at 58,000 miles. I plan on changing them very soon though. Constantly cleaning the black tips though. Also if you want an easier-to-get product this is the same thing as boostane and is available at most autozones

Amen!!Listen to those guys they know their stuff. Good luck
It's only .13oz per gallon, or 2oz for a 15.5 gallon fuel tank. 93-95 octane.2oz per gallon of 93 octane, correct?
Exactly what I use sir. Also if you want an easier-to-get product this is the same thing as boostane and is available at most autozones

Do you dump the entire bottle since there is no mixxing chart for that? I was thinking if using the mixing chart of boostane as a reference tbhExactly what I use sir.
8 oz of VP for every fill upDon

So you would recommend a separate tune for 91+boostane and one for straight 91? Or is it not enough of a difference to bother spending the money on another tuneYou’re not going to get all the benefits of adding any type of octane booster wether Boostsne or Torco. Without a tune octane booster is good protection from bad gas and keeps your knock sensors happy. With a tune you could increase timing or boost to get more out of it.So you would recommend a separate tune for 91+boostane and one for straight 91? Or is it not enough of a difference to bother spending the money on another tune
No not at all. Get a 91 octane tune so it runs optimally on 91. Then when you’re going to run her hard on the streets or track add boostane. The computer will automatically add/sub timing spark and fuel for demand. You don’t want to have a tune done for octane boosters unless you’re running something like nitrous. So you would recommend a separate tune for 91+boostane and one for straight 91? Or is it not enough of a difference to bother spending the money on another tune
