@Marketplaza just comparing the CFM of the 3 blowers it seems both the V3 JT and 2200sl move 1450cfms max and the G3 moves 1600 cfms max so I wouldn't say the ESS kit is smaller when comparing appropriately. The smaller G2 moves 1300cfms so it would seem to be compared more so to the V3 SI...
man, I thought I had updated this thread with the results... oops. Here is how it turned out using the low profile 180 from FORE. it worked beautifully!
Sorry to jump in here, but my question somewhat ties into the OP's question. I've been trying to find good answers on benefits/drawbacks to running what I consider to be a minimum E rating(E30) vs upgrading the fuel system and running E85(even though the only pump E near me tests at E68-E70) vs...
I've wondered about this since dyno time was done for my car. I had read somewhere about not being able to dyno in 7th (even though it's 1:1) paired with the 3.15 rear gear because it would be too high of a speed and also risk damage to the stock driveshaft. We dyno'd in 6th and the results...
I use the boostane professional and decided to buy some 2 and 4 oz bottles so that I could just fill them and not have to measure from the can each time. Works for me when I want to run some.
They also sell "shots" which I believe are 4oz bottles you can use for on-the-go.
I appreciate the response and I did attempt to bend the tube but I decided that it really shouldn't be necessary to do for a product that says it fits the applications as designed. I ordered the low profile 180° fitting from fore innovations so I'm hoping that solves the fitment issue. If it...
Both 180° fittings are the exact same for both sides so that wouldn't work. I used all the included hardware and watched VMP's install video and nothing mentioned specific locations as far as this is concerned. Again, unless I'm missing something 😒.
I'm not sure if I'm just missing some info somewhere or what but these fuel rails are coming in contact with the hose connector at the front of the manifold. I'm hoping someone has already seen this before and knows what I'm missing. Any help would be really appreciated.
What are some thoughts on the different options for aftermarket fuel rails? Are they that much different from one another or are all pretty much the same with just slight variations?
It's really a toss up between the 2 systems for me because, for one, I like them both so I don't think either would be a bad choice. Two, they both can come with the fuel hat/bucket assembled for a drop in install. I did watch the install video of the VMP system and it seemed really easy.
The jackal kit you mentioned doesn't have any info on their website that I can see other than the price of the system itself.
I'm looking into picking up a fuel system but my preference is to maintain a stock like fuel bucket. I know that takes out the popular brands(divisionx and fore) unless...
Lol, well there is a local mustang club here on the MS gulf coast and there are some gt350 and gt500 cars in it but without knowing the plate I can't really help you with your question. It would also help knowing the county of said plate but it doesn't seem like you're wanting to put info out...
Wait, am I reading this correctly? This happened 8ish+ months ago? You're just now bringing it up and you didn't install the kit on top of that? This seems odd if that is the case. I know I've seen changes that they've made to their process/products around the March timeframe of this year. That...

- Haven't dynoed yet but will do so in a couple weeks. I'm on the 120mm pulley

you're welcome and thanks. I really hope I don't end up needing any luck though lol.
I do like it. As I said, it's just a well thought out kit that requires hardly any modification to install and the G3 head unit moves a good bit of air (1600cfm). My vortech kit was good to me and I really only had one issue out of it which was the passenger side curved pipe would pop off...
@Cordero1 - Everything you mentioned in this comment is exactly what I went through with my decision. I do not stay brand loyal to ANYTHING because I have always felt that just shuts doors on too many opportunities. I have used Beefcake in the past and bought a Vortech kit for my Gen1 from them...
Selling my intake because I went forced induction. The intake was on my car for approximately 1,200 miles. No tune required to run it. Asking 240 shipped.
