Seen it happen. Ben doesn’t warranty.

The quality has gone down so much. He will give you another bill full price to replace the trans.

Get a t-56. Man I hate to see it.

It looks like you got the trans out fast!

😬 Did all of the fluid leak out? I see it looks like an oily film on the crossmember.

Will you be taking it apart yourself and inspecting the internals? This is the only way to know for sure what’s going on inside, as you’ll be able to put your own eyeballs on it.

I’m very curious to see what it looks like inside. If you do decide to tear into it, here’s my build thread that can serve as a guide for you.

I wonder man, I think Ben is selling fools gold. I would love to see what’s really inside. I just think there’s more stock stuff in there that’s on the brink of failure than he’s letting on. Transmission sure doesn’t hold 2000 horsepower like he claims.

At this point, @16RPG_Turbo can only trust his own eyes to open it up and see what’s going on inside.

I have a Calimer stage 2 I am still doing the break in miles 400+ miles on it. As the guy falling off the 30-story building said as he passed the 10th floor, "so far so good" Mine is only about 460 rwhp. N/A

I sure hope it's nothing too bad. Did you change the trans oil at your 500mi mark?

Damn dude sorry to hear! I just finished up my 500 mile break in on my Calimer stage 3 and 3/4th are starting to feel funny....I'm nervous.

I've heard guys with stage 2's well into the 800hp mark with no issues. Just seems to be a bit hit or miss.

Depending on what Calimer says, I believe that is going to be my next transmission.

Exactly. Tremec has the new Magnum XL with DSRM and back up camera support coming in July. Much better option than any MT82. That's where my money is gonna go and then sell the MT82 to get some cash back.

So update as of today. I emailed Calimer and told them what is going on, and they responded to remind me that there is only a 90-day warranty from the day I receive it, but they would get back to me by the end of the day. They responded kind of short and told me to send it back, and they would look into it. I emailed them back, ensuring the address was correct, and got a simple email YES.

Based on the follow-up correspondence, I don't think this is going to go well, but I'm hopeful it will show as an error on their part and they will be honest about it. If not I'm hoping its a fairly cheap fix and I can get it back and drive the car until I can afford the T-56 Magnum XL.

I will let everyone know how it goes. FedEx picked it up today and it should arrive to them next Tuesday.
