That is what I am thinking happened. I just want to find out if it's in fact a Level 4 with a billet 6th gear added, is it a new core and my previous guts, is it a new core and new guts.

I had 2,000 miles on my internals so they were decently broken in. I need to see if I need to do the 500mi break in again and change the fluid like the first time. I assume everything is on the up and up, but I have to ask.

Yup, standard practice. They usually have them all built up ready to go and take yours as the core. Same deal with RPM trans when I sent my C5 trans in. I got a new (to me) one all built and they took my core to use for a future build.

I'm not sure about the stripped bolt hole, but as soon as my "Dipped in Gold" starter arrives, we are going to throw it back in and get on the road soon.

The mobile tire guy will be at the house tomorrow to swap out my drag radial, and the new wheel bearing should be arriving tomorrow as well.

Hope it all works out for you . I bought a stage 2 about 3 years ago and its been perfect. My car is a Roush 670 hp and this trans has been light years from the trans that came in the car. Best of luck to you.
