That looks really good. Did you chassis mount the splitter with the separate bracket from apr?

I went thru the lower grill, installed rivnuts in the bottom of the crash bar and mounted the upper rod ends there. I had to purchase longer rods to mount it that way but to me that's the only way to do it. The rods I used were from FS Performance Engineering. They offer different rod ends and I went with quik disconnect both ends and a 1/4-20 recessed allen head on the crash bar end. Excellent product.

I'm thinking of doing mine. I just wanted to see what was needed. I also want to see how my car handles before I put it on. I don't have a spoiler either.
I found this LVA Mount and wanted to find anyone that used it.

How did you determine what size splitter rods to use?

If you just care about looks, that's correct.

If you care about downforce and the splitter actually doing something, this is 100% necessary. Splitters mounted solely to the flimsy undertray don't do anything for downforce.

What the splitter or the LVA mounts? Explain
The mount. I attached my upper rod ends to the bottom of the crash bar using rivnuts 1/2. I bought rods from FS Engineering with quick disconnect on both end and one end having recessed 1/4-20 recessed allen heads to mount to the crash bar. It's necessary to step drill teo holes thru the lower grill for the rods to pass thru but they don't show at all. Tk prevent the rods from touching the lower facia I put a spacer between the rod end and the splitter.

I’m pretty sure I will be doing this in the near future. My splitter is from Carters Custom. At the time of installation he did recommend adding support rods. I liked the cleaner look and didn’t put them on. I had an SBS splitter on prior to the CC (If anyone is looking for one it’s hanging on my garage wall, send me an offer.) and the front side tab broke causing me to install a quick latch. I’m pretty sure it was from the downward pressure from the SBS. I have since decided to install the support rods and probably will put a quick latch latch on the other side too. This is the way I want to do the install. There are several videos online for installing support rods and almost all that I have found have the rods installed into the plastic bumper cover. My thoughts are that if you’re going to remove the front bumper cover and go through the hassle of disassembling everything you might as well do it the way it’s supposed to be done to help support the front splitter and bumper cover. What’s the point of buying $100 support rods and putting them on for show?
Do you have any tips or more install photos? I’m curious about where the rods go through the lower grill. And where on the crash bar you installed the Riv-nuts to get the proper spacing for the rods.
Maybe someone can do an installation tutorial that way people can install these the correct way and not just for show.
Thanks for your help and any advice would be appreciated.
Pete
