I have a 16 with the Harness by Hextall conversion stereo system. It looks and sounds fantastic but I would much rather use the HVAC system in my 99’ 7.3 Super Duty. 3 knobs adjust everything. I can do that blindfolded. I also like that I can switch my stereo out without screwing everything else...
I own a 2016 GTPP. I love the car. The 650 on the other hand I would never buy. I don’t like the interior and the exterior is hideous. The dark horse and SC look a lot better but they gave it a goofy name and a huge price. For that money I would buy a corvette.
I went with the Harness by Hextall kit and Infinity speakers, yes they do fit. I think it sounds pretty good. If you’re into bass you might add a subwoofer.
I ordered a Gt-500 style hood.Sept 18 of last year. I had them paint match J-4 Deep Impact Blue and it was dead on. I had them paint top, bottom and vent in black and all was perfect. It took a while to get it but everything was packed well and in perfect shape.
I have run into so many scammers I don’t donate anything to them. Chances are they’re trying to scam you. It’s a sad thing to say but that’s my experience. I usually tell them that I don’t have any cash. If they’re brazen enough to suggest that I use a credit card I will usually tell them they...
I bought an extra and put the original on the garage wall. Along with the coil covers and hood. In case I end up selling the car in the future and the new owner wants all the parts. Even boxed and kept the awful 4” radio.
Yeah. Bring the tech order up with a dealer and they run for cover. No one I brought it up with would own it. I have tried a few. In the end I went with a Cervini hood. I had them paint it and they did a fantastic job. The only issue was that due to the way the hood was made I could no longer...
Something to think about…
I replaced my hood with a fiberglass one from Cervini. I couldn’t stand all the corrosion. It’s a GT Performance Pack with Over the top stripes. I didn’t want to remove all the factory stripes so I bought just the hood stripes. They were pretty expensive for just the...
DIY, Honestly it’s not that difficult. Take your time and measure twice before you drill. If you miss by a little you can resize and use some sealant.
I saw a drawing of a modernized 80’s Camaro a few years back. It was an IROC version. I thought it looked pretty good. They’ve burned out the 67-69 style, time to go in another direction.
Cervini color matched GT-500 hood with over the top stripes to match the rest of the car. Cervini hood struts and Steeda GT-500 rear spoiler. Just in time for pollen season.
Does anyone know of a decent swap meet in NC? I have acquired some 15-17 parts over the years that are now cluttering up my garage. It would be nice to rehome some and make a little cash on the side.
I have a set of Redlines in chrome or stainless can’t remember which one that I have sitting around the garage. I replaced them with Cervini when I installed the new hood. If anyone is interested $50 plus shipping. They have the mount kit with them.
