did you have to go through the bumper at all? Trying to figure out a way that will avoid having to drill through anything to get to the bash bar.
Is yours mounted to the bottom of the crash bar? I bought 12" rods after reading what you wrote and the plan is to mount to the bottom of the crash bar using rivnuts and then drilling a hole in the lower grille for the rod to pass through. I'm hoping this will work. I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks

I hard mounted mine to the crash beams of the front subframe so no rods needed.

It was a trial and error process over the course of a few track days but I'm very happy with the results.
What's the purpose of those cutouts? Air flow to intercooler?

Those are venturis to feed the brakes. All PP cars have a belly pan like that that channels air to a deflector then to brake assembly. I simply grafted mine onto the splitter

Yes so I ended up mounting them straight to the bottom of the bar. Huge pain to drill the hole so I recommend using a drill press.

Thanks. If the rods end up being too long I can always cut to size and retap. Thanks for the help.

I just bought adjustable rods. I don’t remember the size but they had about 4 inches or so of adjustability so I could dial in the right length and angle I wanted the splitter at

Mine extend from 12"-13.75. The angle from the crash bar thru the lower grill.
